I see Meta are releasing an object occlusion for their passthrough. I was wondering if it would be possible to see your hands (etc) in front of the video when using the passthrough mode? The immersion levels will go through the roof if the model doesn't obscure your hands at least. Hope that makes sense.

I hope they can make it happen 🤝

I imagine this is possible with apple vision so lets see

It would be really cool but it will require the video to have depth information to work. Probably will need to be generated with AI if it's to work on all videos and then streamed along with the video as real time depth estimation for the entire video is not feasible in real time at the moment on a quest. So, not a small request but I agree, definitely a worthwhile venture. Especially as that depth information can also be used to create proper auto focus.

@"Repaelleinad"#p85383 for sure 👍

@"fenderwq"#p85394 we do have depth maps. Let's see how we utilise these

I agree with this. It's also the top feature I would be looking forward to.

@"doublevr"#p85398 I'm looking forward to this please keep us updated

I saw a review of 'stranger things' on quest. It has a mixed reality section, in the video you could see his actual hands over VR assets, seems like it basically just used the hand tracking for position to cut out the hands. We must be close to this...... Surely! It's next level stuff.

@"Repaelleinad"#p87893 it's coming 🔥

Occlusion Passthrough Update

milky97

Any progress made on this feature?

iddqd

milky97 nothing yet. Working on other things to bring more quality experience

mwpgggxx

Looking forward to this feature!

sogman

Looks like the scrapped this idea?? I nolonger see it in the SLR labs

milky97

If true, such a bummer. Definitely the feature I'm most hyped about.

milky97

Can we get any updates on this? One user suggested that the feature was scrapped already. Can any of the SLR Staff members confirm this?

Vrsitemail

is this still happening?

doublevr

Vrsitemail hopefully coming with
https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/10459-deovr-hyper-app-released-on-sidequest upcoming updates

Vrsitemail

doublevr really hope so this would be a game changer

Grasshopper

Any updates on this, even a beta of some kind. Will make passthrough very exciting. Braindance has something like this.

doublevr

Last time I've checked it was computationaly heavy.
It's already supported natively on AVP, i wouldn't say it's such a huge effect.

Grasshopper

doublevr It could add to immersion even if it drains the quest 3 battery faster.

I suggested adding real looking hands ✋️ for the hands free image 🤷‍♂️

What adds real to it is using a torso if you dont have one already, you're literally there in doggy or mission penatrating the torso but her pussy covers the torso pussy, or if u move ur head forward it's like a threesome with two pussies stack on each other, either way you get a great bang for your buck.

It can look like it's sliding in her pussy too. Pt took fapping to whole nothther level...
sex like real level 🥂
