DeoVR Hyper App Released on SideQuest!

Hey everyone! 👋
After months of development, the new version of our VR video app — Hyper — is here for you to try! 🎉

This Beta version is now available for download on SideQuest.
👉 Install it directly to your Quest: Get Hyper app on SideQuest

How to Install

Connect your Quest headset to your computer using a cable.
Open the Hyper page on SideQuest.
On the right panel under the app name, click the “Sideload” button.
Wait for it to finish installing — and that’s it!
Once installed, you can open the app and visit sexlikereal.com in the URL bar to explore your favourite content in VR.

Kieshi I putted on website www.sexlikereal.com and its says the site is not yet compatible... How does it work?

looks good, nice fps even on ai pt. notice a bug of the remote control. didnt hide when watch a video. its always visible.

This new Hyper player Rocks and I can't wait until all the SLR features are fully implemented.

Love the separate Vol control
FPS seems Good. Although, hope it remains smooth when more features are implemented in the Player and things won't "Bog Down" the FPS
AI PT seems Great
AUTO Res setting seemed to worked well
While browsing scenes, pages Loaded quickly and things were smooth like butter

Obviously missing alot of Core features, but you can tell this player has been optimized for smooth navigation and playback on the Q3

Tested with success on Q3 ver 81

Idea for this new Hyper App... A-B "Clip Playlists"

Example: You make a A-B "Clip" (say 30 sec of BJ you like). Then you can Add that Clip to a Playlist. Then another Clip (same scene) for the Cowgirl you like, that Clip is added to a different Playlist. The clips need to save their FOV/Orientation settings individually.
This is kind of like your current Interactive Videos but SO much easier to add Clips.
Then using a Clip Playlist with the Shuffle ON... Imagine my Top 20 Teens riding Bed CG not knowing which one is Cumming next 😛
This would be Game Changing if you guys can pull it off!

Also, being able to re-order (drag & drop) the scenes in all Playlists is also a desperately needed feature while on Q3

nice! will give it a try, hope local AI PT support will be coming as that was the thing was most excited about in the announcement of hyper

I agree that Hyper seems way faster than the old app and the video quality seems a bit better but both the design and the navigation are huge steps backwards in my opinion. I think the old app has it right with all the filters and toggles out to the sides and keeps the main window clean. No need for that scrolling main page.

I sent my feedback via the survey but curious to see what others think here.

Obviously looks very basic at this point, but seems okay so far.

Is it faster because all the bloat isn't there or was there a technical change that made it faster? Anyone care to elaborate on that?

dolphin7559 We optimised a lot of things along the way, as we already had experience with old DeoVR and knew where the bottlenecks are, the app is made from scratch, so this is the main reason app works smoother.

would be amazing feature and something ive been wanting forever. I do sometimes similar thing on byoj interactive videos but that has a major drawback that it takes long time to buffer a new clip/episode which kills immersion, multiple AB loops would solve that.

been testing so far and like other mentioned very nice fast smooth playback and high quality. Minor thing to fix noticed like not remembering AI PT no male setting for every video. but besides that no real complaints, as many missing stuff is on the way like playlists on the side, haptics, all the video adjustment controls..
Looking forward to when its ready, but so far great work!

renstimpy11 you know man I've wanted something like that too... but in THAT scene. So like take any scene, select blowjob, and it only plays the blowjob portions without having to scroll to the next part with that action

Reeses This isn't at all what im describing above, which is Custom Clip Playlist.
But, you can already do what you want (BJ parts only, plus other tags if you want them) with the Solotime Tags button. It's on the Left of the seek bar I believe.
... of course it would be AMAZING if the SoloTime Tags button remained active for the NEXT scene, but I've been only asking for that since Spring. It used to be like that, but got disabled in a update

I have given the Hyper a try and it does seem very smooth. Clearly, a lot of features are currently missing that are currently available in DEOVR. As stated above, A-B looping would be great, and can't wait for haptics and other features to come soon!

Been using the app more over the past few days and yes it lacks some major features but the video playback seems so good. IDK what it is about it but it just feels smoother and the more immersive. Amazing work by the team working on this.

Also noticed on the side quest page it mentions support for volumetric videos + BYOJ. So much to look forword to here.
