ceejdawg518 Yes you don't have to use Haptics Connect for the Handy. You just have to input your key like you do with Faptap or on the official Handy website.
does no one notice you can’t go landscape on Haptics Connect?? This is unusable
Denarius
I’m meaning to connect to this site SLR not handy official site as it says to download the app when you Goto connect
Ill try it when I next get a chance as then I guess to don’t matter since browser works fine for videos
ceejdawg518 @Denarius is correct - you can simply input your handy connection key in your profile when logged in your SLR account to watch scripted content right through your browser -> https://www.sexlikereal.com/user/devices
Hello this is a known issue by SLR for months if not years. I raised the problem several times but nothing is done. We are still waiting FULLSCREEN mode for iPhones and iPads on haptics it is the only way to connect a toy for script playback to an iOS device
SLR please do something fast it’s so frustrating
naughtysteph Read the comment above yours... It's not actually an issue so of course they aren't going to 'fix' it.
By the way, both @naughtysteph and @Denarius , do yourselves a favor and get a VR headset. I don't understand why you'd even get a subscription without it..
(I recommend Quest 2, if you want PT Quest 3)
I do have a VR headset but I don’t take it with me while traveling and that does occur very often and then I rely on my iPad only.
Denarius oh yeah sorry I meant @ceejdawg518
Just wanted to say, the same issue applies for Android phones. Moreover the videos are stuttering on the same device where going through chrome or brave the stutter doesn't occur. Makes the HC app unusable and as there's no other option for scripts without a headset, makes the subscription worthless.
As a side issue, I'm not even able to log in to slr with the shitty HC browser now, site goes through login process and doesn't log me in in the end. The app hasn't been updated since March 2024 and is worthless for bluetooth toys at least (Gush).
Pinks85 Try using Option #5 from the main toy guide instead => OPTION 5 - HOW TO CONNECT WITHOUT A VR HEADSET AND VIEW ON ANY DEVICE DIRECTLY THROUGH WEBXR BROWSER (Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop/PC/Mac/Meta)
FOR SEX TOYS CONNECTION THROUGH BLUETOOTH: (Currently ONLY works with GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER)
Current Toys supported = Kiiroo Keon, Kiiroo Launch, Kiiro Onyx, Kiiroo Hot Octopuss Pulse Solo Interactive, Vorze A10 Cyclone SA, Vorze A10 Piston SA, Lovense Calor, Gush, Hush 1, Edge 1, the Handy (wifi is recommended for best Handy toy playback performance) more device support incoming!"
You need to Enable Bluetooth mode on your device
IMPORTANT: DO NOT PAIR YOUR SEX TOY directly to your browser device, this will prevent connection
- Click Play on any video in the Sex Toy Scripts Category
- Click the "CONNECT" button and a system window will open showing all available nearby BT devices - choose the toy you want to connect
- Click Settings
and Select the desired script available - your BT toy will now play along with the action on screen!
RealcumberScripts this way always shows "Bluetooth device error" in red. The toy is paired and connected but when I select a script, there's always the above error message. I'm using lovense Gush and chrome browser.
- Edited
RealcumberScripts any other ideas? Right now, this is the situation for me:
Can't connect my lovense gush toy with PC at all - using chrome browser, going step by step along with the guide. Device shows as paired, yet after starting video the bottom left corner has a red dot and "bluetooth device error"
Same issue as above with chrome on android. btw your guide in last section of https://www.sexlikereal.com/blog/430-slr-smartphone-experience says: 1. enable bluetooth, 2. click play on the video, 3. click "CONNECT" button. If this is truly meant for Android then it's wrong - after I start the video it is almost full screen with the video player. The CONNECT button is available only before that.
Trying the video+haptics button opens up the video in haptics connect app and it's the only way where the video plays and toy is synced and picking up the script. However, the browser in haptics connect it totally unusable:
a) The video stutters all the time, skips multiple frames every second and is unwatchable. All SLR videos play fine in my usual browsers chrome or brave, even when I have multiple videos open in tabs and when I'm skipping between them. My phone has Snapdragon 8gen1 CPU with 12GB RAM so it's definitely the HC app browser that's doing that. Perhaps it can't utilize my phone's GPU acceleration or something.
b) Entering fullscreen in HC browser forces landscape view, ignoring device rotation settings. Non-fullscreen has a huge URL bar at the top and HC app buttons on the bottom of the screen, breaking immersion once again.
c) HC browser seems to lack gyro support or something, as there's no toggle to go into this "magic window" mode like it is on usual browsers (only drag control mode and flat mode are available).
All in all, with stuttering, forced landscape in fullscreen and no gyro support, this browser is not usable for any SLR video enjoyment. Yet it is also the only way that currently works for bluetooth toys.
Please let me know if ANYTHING is happening around HC connect app development. I like SLR even without a VR headset and I also am able to have fun with my bluetooth toys on other sites or services. It is a shame that combining the toys with SLR is not possible and/or a frustrating experience at this time. Thank you.
