I recently explored the Panorama samples on the Quest 3 and immediately thought it would be great to have a high-quality strip club panorama picture as a background for DeoVR. However, I only found images of empty clubs with poor picture quality. Despite the blurriness, they worked well in DeoVR, showing some potential for higher quality porno pano pics. 😉🥂

With AVP now promoting VR180 and 3D pictures, the Quest 3 has been updated to play spatial and panoramic photos, and the samples available are impressive. The vrp community should start showing some interest here.

Here’s an idea:

On set, many photos are taken for viewing. Why not start taking panoramic pictures as well? These could be used as backgrounds in DeoVR. I found an animated picture of a few models, and it looked fantastic in DeoVR as my background. But I thought Imagine having panoramic pictures from a VRP set with the hotties or a panoramic view of a bedroom in a laying position. You could use it as your DeoVR background, making it seem like you're in one of those nice rooms. Using your deovr headset.

DeoVR has a photo section, so it might be cool to add this to SLR too, offering a variety of photo files: 2D, VR, 360, and panoramic.

I also tried taking a snapshot from a VRP video to use as a panoramic background, but it showed with two lenses. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd appreciate the help.

Conclusion:
There could be significant interest in using panoramic images more in the industry. I would love to have high-quality panoramic or 360 pictures for DeoVR backgrounds or just for casual viewing.

PabloSLR You might want to mention that when using the DeoVR player, you can view 2D photos properly. However, there is no setting in the player to display panoramic pictures correctly. The player offers various options such as VR180 and fisheye, but it lacks a "Pano Vision" setting to properly display panoramic photos.

I've seen some 360-degree panoramic photos that looked great, but I couldn't get a proper view using the DeoVR player.

I didn't know we could add a photo for a background in the Meta environments. I think it's a new feature. I heard they were going to add AI so we could create our own 360-degree environments.

It's a panoramic picture, possibly 360 degrees. I used it as my background in DeoVR, and it works well. However i am a perv 🤦‍♂️, I can't help but think how great it would be if there were more details, like hotties posing laying on the bed, window, or hallway, or bent over getting some doggy by that table, AND It would be amazing if we could use panoramic as GIFs too! add more dynamic backgrounds to use in deovr as a pano vision background while happily watching vrp, lol

And I guess you'd be able to use 6dof too kinda walk around in pano vision picture when viewing then in the deovr player. 🤔
