Quest 3 - Airlink issue

When I use just the quest 3 to login to deo/SLR, I can play videos fine at any resolution. If I try to switch to airlink and then use deo on my computer to play videos, they are a stuttery mess. This seems to be a recent issue and wasnt always the case.
I would think that my computer is powerful enough to run these files no problem:
i5-9600k
32gb
RTX 3070ti

Any thoughts as to what might be the issue? (I prefer to use computer DEO vs pure quest 3 because the quality is a bit higher and the colors through quest3 seem to be slightly more red hue)

Hi charask your hardware is definitely powerful enough. In this case, we recommend regular troubleshooting steps such as making sure that codecs are updated (https://www.microsoft.com/p/hevc-video-extensions/9nmzlz57r3t7 and https://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm) and check if Meta Link app itself is working properly, reinstalling it and defaulting settings can help.

Keep in mind that we are leaning toward the standalone app version, which offers the best playback experience. You can also play with colors in the Quest settings under the Accessibility section.

doublevr damn, think the best method is to just download the actual video then watch it via airlink through deo

charask it can work but again, we recommend using the standalone version of the app to avoid potential issues with AirLink, as it is not recommended

charask There is an easier way. I tried airlink and couldn't get it to work.
I'm a computer idiot so I can't remember what it is called but you can give permission on your computer to let another device use your storage.
If you look around on the internet about sharing your computer with your Quest 3, you can find it. It took me a little bit of time to figure it out but once I did I never have to mess with it again.
I do use HereSphere for it. It has all my downloads from my computer on it and on external hard drives . It runs smooth
