Silly-Sausage I disagree with your statement about anything specific changing with video comments. This specific studio voiced their opinion and decision and informed their user base here. Other studios make their own, separate decisions. If they want to turn off comments, they are allowed to do so, we just used this topic as an opportunity to discuss alternatives. What was recently discussed here were the reasons behind the decision, next steps, and the overall way to provide constructive feedback both for this and other cases.
Besides, I don't get your point about the forum being "broken" in relation to this discussion. I had a constructive discussion with two users, haven't prevented anyone from commenting and only focused on the way the comments are being shared. I don't understand why you take messages like "make your feedback constructive" as a personal attack, and it's completely reasonable for a forum to steer conversations in a civil direction. My comments have nothing to do with "getting users to share what we want to hear".
And for real this time, you just came back to this discussion to share your two cents after there was no talk about you (or any other studios for that matter), and you exploded. You can definitely argue that you provided feedback about a couple of different topics in the second half of your message, but you know that's not what I'm referring to. My entire previous points were about being critical while staying constructive, and this comment just went in the opposite direction of that. Stop initiating confrontations, and stop provoking. As mentioned before, there are better ways to share your opinions.
You and I never had direct communication like this before, and I have no personal beef with you. I can respect that you have personal thoughts on how things should work with studios, comments and the overall platform, but it is impossible to please every user out there. I'd like to kindly ask you to reconsider how (not what) you share your input moving forward.
