So instead of a solo shoot, I as a viewer would very much prefer to be part of the intro. Similar to the personal message that Badoink used to place at the end of a video (Hi, I'm Riley Reid and you just f'ed me on BDVR...), but at the beginning and with me in it.
Could go like this: It's right before the shoot starts. The girl or girls come walking to the male talent who is the viewer in his headset, introducing themselves and telling him a little about the scene they are going to shoot (basically paraphrasing the scene description). The crucial point would be that the girls are talking naturally without trying to act and are addressing the viewer and not some fictional character in the scene. Maybe this illusion could be enhanced by putting some bits into the script that a viewer of VR porn can clearly relate to. Like: We are shooting with Alex Nash today. When my agent offered me the job, I immediately called Sofie to tell her that she can't wash her armpits within two days before that gig. I am sure creative people will have no problem coming up with something new and original for every video.
But all this doesn't mean you can't shoot solo footage on top of that. Around 10 minutes, like VirtualTaboo or TmwVRNet do - I will watch it.
