g2kbuffetboy hardly surprising, given how they somehow took over the oculusnsfw sub with that bullshit thread listing VRporn as everyone's favorite website, based on a poll which didn't even include them. The poll was open for like 3 days or something, initially excluded SLR until enough people complained, and I'm guessing allowed multiple votes from the same ip address (this is an option you can enable with strawpolls but there's no way AFAIK you can see how the poll was set up).
The sticky thread is still the first thing you see on that subreddit and is ridiculously biased. 2 years later I'm still mad about how blatantly the mod skewed the results, even putting vrporn in the #1 spot a year after the poll ended. Just threw it in there like we're all fucking idiots.

      BML5768 agreed, but that's why they should of had streaming only available as a alternative since the beginning. Now they got to kind of go backwards and fix it up and start adding streaming only.

      Logic or not, streaming only is available on alot streaming apps, it's going to happen.

      And a logic alternative would be add streaming only as an alternative for consumers like me who can get pretty trigger happy with the downloads. 🤷‍♂️

          Silly-Sausage bro because I have a porn addiction, vr porn! you give me a download I will happily download the whole site, lol I have, but im speaking from my experience, for me having downloads is not good, it's time consuming, and I feel I need to down all i can, it became a problem for me, I had to buy more tb drives that got filled up real quick, and then when u have no more space you there trying to delete files you think u don't want, I got rid of lots of old navr scenes I thought I didn't want just to make space, now I wish I hadn't but they're there on the site for viewing but they have no streaming only available. So I just check out there trailers, and honestly really not missing much at navr

          But no bro I'm no bot, I'm just speaking from my own experience. 👍

          I bet there's a lot of consumers out there that don't subscribe just for the fact they don't want a download available for them, they'll go crazy! So instead they watch trailers, free vr vids or them short vr trailers that like 10minutes long.

          Idk, I'm just saying I been suggesting this for years, totally made no since to me they never had streaming only subscription as another option even tho it was crap streaming on oculus browser back then and crap on some vr apps they should of been offering it, but today's different, streaming vr porn works a whole lot better, for me it does, I wanna see it happen.

          One day I can see it being more like a Netflix or a Amazon prime, and you'll subscribe, right, but also there will be other channels you can purchase to unlock. Like top sites who are stinngy with there content lol, imo we need all vr sites in one location, full of content, free content, paid content, you'll never miss out on what's new. It's all there. But some sites you going have to pay to unlock some channels.

          But yeah, crazy shit going on, times are changing, the internet is changing.

            I'm not suggesting that, never have never will, I been suggesting for years.
            I said streaming only subscription as an alternative to what they have now.

            Let the consumer choose if they want the downloads or the streaming only sub, is what I'm suggesting.

            We need downloads, I might not always have good streaming capabilities, I know plenty of consumers travel so they definitely need the downloads.

            But if only meta would offer some kinda internet severice on there headsets, internet on the GO, travelers may not need to download, if the streaming is good. But yeah...we need the downloads, personally I don't need them, but I know a lot of you do need it. So I'd never suggest getting rid of the downloads, that's stupid.

                  Man... I remember hearing something about this, but thank you for reminding us again with the links and how VRPorn.com wasn't even on the initial poll! I've actually submitted "mod mail" to the moderators 2 weeks ago after the news of the download button, to try and get this sticky post edited, or have the top sites removed, but they haven't responded (nor do I imagine they will).

                  I really wish we can somehow get that post removed... It's truly a disservice to new customers. It's not at all indicative of trustworthy VR sites, and sites that produce good VR content. Even putting aside that the results were fixed / doctored, the rankings are severely outdated too.

                  There was a tiny ounce of belief that I thought maybe VRB isn't so dense and stupid that there has to be another reason besides piracy that they removed downloads... But nope. After reading that, and uncovering some of the May 25, 2023 posts pointing towards piracy as the reason... really shows just how dumb VRB is. The pirates will still be able to rip/download the scene and post it on the internet. What VRB did by disabling downloads only punishes their paying subscribers. The ones that actually pay for their porn! Pirates will always find a way. My goodness VRB... idiots.

                      Didn’t harass anyone. Just stated my own disappointed in their discission to take away downloads, the issues using playa desktop app to download, acknowledged the fake accounts posting on videos and supported others posting their issues. LOL

                          g2kbuffetboy Make a post about how they are deleting posts and banning users who speak out about the download removal. That'll probably do it 🤣

                          Is the post about the lawsuit still there? I'd imagine that would have been removed quickly.

                              g2kbuffetboy Everyone who was calling out their obviously fake accounts to praise all their own videos and talk crap back at their users, seem to be gone now too.

                              Man... seriously. VRB videos are only to be acquired on the high seas, from this point forward. I will never give that company money again.

                                Last thing I saw was that they were called out for tampering with the Terms & Conditions. They officially claim they have updated them on June 10, two days before users were notified in the forum. One user had quoted a section of the T&C related to downloads in the forum on June 14, and the same user had noticed on June 24 that the part of the T&C that he had quoted had been secretly changed between June 14 and June 24, while VRB is still claiming that the last update took place on June 10.

                                What they had added to the T&C retroactively was the fact that downloads are available only in the PLAY'A App.

                                g2kbuffetboy I assume my forum account will be suspended soon enough... surprised it's not yet considering they just deleted a bunch of my posts.

                                You may as well have been suspended - that forum is totally pointless now, the truth is out there !
