Hello all. I wish to ask an embarrassing question that put me in a awkward situation on the webcams:
I guess you ask is the camgirl wishes to go "private" on a negotiated tip. That being said....

1)I assume you press the "start private chat" button, as that is the only one available here?
2)It gives you two options a)Text b)Voice.
3)I assume you choose either one of these options??
4)If agreed upon, the camgirl goes into private mode, and the algorithm shuts down all of the other cams except for yours? Also, do you see the camgirl as if in "normal mode", or is it a blank screen with only voice or text?

    Those are fair questions!

    It's always best to message the performers beforehand, asking if private is open and then give them an idea of what you want to do, sometimes they might ask you to tip extra beforehand for certain things, e.g. squirting or anal.

    Don't be afraid to walk away if it's too expensive and to be fair, some performers will give you a high price at first and if you say it's out of your budget, oh all of a sudden they offer a big % off 😆

    I'm not saying go around low-balling and haggling, but do know you can give input and there may be some flexibility on quiet days/hours

    • You can click the "START PRIVATE CHAT" button and then it will show you the Text and Voice prices

    The SLR interface is missing a lot of things compared to other cam sites, there are plans to make it better - hopefully private messaging to performers and a list of what they do in private is on the checklist

    Anyway:

    • Performers often (but not always) multi-stream on different platforms all at the same time e.g. Chaturbate/streamate/Stripchat/Dreamcam(SLR VR cam stream provider). Both with 2D and VR cameras

    Text private = you can use text to communicate

    • If you book a private with Text, then expect other people to be watching but they cannot read your messages to the performer if you are using private messaging (I assume chat box turns into a private message when going private on SLR)

    • Performers might stream the session either in public chat on other platforms or through Spying/Goldshow mode on certain platforms which means people can watch but not interact or read your private messages

    If they are streaming in public chat on other sites then it's possible people can tip tokens and they might get a lush buzz or whatever

    Voice private = you can use both voice and text to communicate - Voice chat is called Exclusive on some other platforms

    • I'm assuming the rules for SLR/Dreamcam are the same as Stripchat Exclusive which means the performer must end all other livestreams - so that you are the only person they can hear/see/read messages from or interact with - giving you their full attention (because you're paying a premium for it)

    In my experience most will do this but not everyone, whether it's accidental or on purpose, who knows. You can often notice they don't because:

    1. They are adjusting the 2D camera, when you are only using the VR camera

    2. If someone tips during, you'll either hear the tip sound through their speakers or hear their lush/toy vibrate

    3. They are reading or typing a chat message that is unrelated to your messages

    If they are clearly taking the piss and ignoring you then end the private before you end up paying out the ass for a poor show. I'm not sure on potential refunds with SLR if the performer didn't do as agreed, maybe you can contact support if this happens

    The video doesn't disappear - the wording of a "text/voice show" is a bit confusing. It just means those are the ways you can communicate with the performers; You still get to see the show exactly the same as in public chat with a VR camera 😄

    By the way, don't feel like you are being rude by ending the private show - there's no need to do long goodbyes or anything since you are paying per the minute!

      Thanks a bunch for the info. There's a lot of interesting "things" i've noticed. Yes, it appears many of them are using several platforms, as you can see them texting that doesn't appear in the SLR cam window. Some just refuse to answer, either because they are shy, language barrier...or they just don't wanna'.

      I actually cam across a newer performer that had cool Ghibli anime poster on the wall. Definitely vibed well with her.

      There are some performers that shame you for not "knowing". Needless-to-say, click out of there really quick.
