  • Plans to upgrade the live cam section?

I'm sure I read a few times over the past year there are plans to upgrade the live cam section with a new interface and features

Is there any further information that can be shared? What kind of changes and any ETA?

One of the biggest things requested is recording privates / public streams - models can enable or disable this feature. I'm sure I read something about this on the forum from staff too

I can't remember the last time I watched regular VR porn.. live webcams are just a whole new experience that i'd recommend people try out 👍

I can tell you do not have a Quest 3 and passthrough. ^_^

silentcoder I can tell you do not have a Quest 3 and passthrough. ^_^

My Pico 4 has pass through, but I prefer live cams since they are interactive and I can have models perform as I want

Apple vision pro is going to launch in my country this summer, i'm gonna order one then for better PT

silentcoder jommy How is the Pico and passthrough?

The cameras are pretty lousy on the Pico not gonna lie, like this video - as you can see the room "warps" and doesn't look great

But the VR lenses on Pico 4 are really good so videos do looks really great

AVP is better than Quest 3 AFAIK for lenses/PT so i'll wait for that

Hi folks! From VR application side, we are planning to refine the design during the summer - we will unify UI of video player and cams player. Before the end of summer this should be completed.
For the recording - to ETA yet, but we will keep you posted for any future updates.

Also, we should be getting tips/toys menu on the web for cams soon and we are looking into adding 2D streams to the bunch on web. ETA is also this summer.

        Kieshi Great news Kieshi!
"we will unify UI of video player and cams player" I hope that means the local clock/ time is on the cam player UI too.
Overall, this is awesome update and a big step forward.
All the best to the Team!

Some suggestions for improvement of the VR cam section in DeoVR:

        • The animated preview thumbs should be updated more often. Right now they seem to be lagging behind like 15 min and almost never represent what's actually happening live. I find this quite annoying. Pushing the reload button does not help.
        • Same goes for the online status of favorites in the right-hand pane. Pushing the reload button does not update the status (from green to grey). This issue is less severe since the status doesn't change that often.
        • There should be a separate preview grid for favorites only. This could replace the 'For you' view which appears to be a random mix of favorites and non-favorites.
        • Something seems to be wrong with the 'Time online' sorting option. Sometimes the initial order gets completely messed up and cannot be restored by pushing the reload button. The only thing that seems to help is leaving and re-entering the cams section. I haven't been able to figure out what's triggering this. Possibly it's happening after making a performer a favorite but this is just a guess.

        Edit:

Stripchat uses the 2D cam for a live view, maybe SLR can do the same

SchnuppiLilac hi, thank you for feedback, it is highly appreciated!

Regarding the error: could you use "Bug report" tab in global app settings to "send bug report"? We will receive it on our ed and will be able to check further.

Kieshi Also, just to clarify, what then happens after this error message? Stream works normally?

No, it's not like in the video section where there is sometimes a server error message but no actual server error. In this case, the streams with this error message never started. After a few seconds, the error message will go away and you will be taken back into the grid view.
