Only on my HP Reverb 2 --Deo User Interface Issues Since Last Update

Anybody else have this problem?

Just on my HP Reverb, not on my Quest 3, ever since the last update, I can't seem to get the user interface in the right position. It is way too close, and I can't get it far enough away to view comfortabely. Also, it is way to low and when I move it up, the angle is really strange. I can't seem to find an adjustment that solves the problem.

Is there anyway to adjust this? Or is this a bug? Note: I have two HP Reverb head sets and it's the same on both.

Hey mebejoe , can you please provide us with a following information such as:

the latest DeoVR version installed?
when did this issue started, did it occurred with previous versions?

yes this was noticed by many, including me (reverb too); but it also seems to be the case for other headsets other than the quest; no doubt deovr should give priority to the quest because it is the majority; too bad for us; personally I only watch videos downloaded with heresphere; problem exists since the last update (so more than a month) and in addition it lags for me

I first noticed it about a week ago, but I had not used my Reverb for at least a few weeks before that -- maybe longer.

I think I have the latest version of DeoVR installed. Doesn't Steam automatically update it? I'm not at home right now, so I can't check for sure which version it is, but it does seem to have all the latest features that are on my Quest 3, with auto focus, different types of pass through, etc.

If you need the version number, I'll need to supply it later.

Also, to clarify: I can move the UI away from me on the home screen, but it's really just barely far enough away. I can also mover the UI up and down normally on the home screen, but the problem manifests while watching a video.

While watching a video, the UI is so far at the bottom of the screen and so close, that I can barely see it when I strain my neck to look down. When I move it up, it is at a weird angle.

Now I'm wodering if I have the perspective set for fish eye or something different than I had it before.

But that wouldn't impact the UI, would it?

Hey mebejoe, thank you for providing the additional information. Correct, Steam should update the app automatically but it is best to check, just in case.

We've passed the information forward to the team and they are aware of the UI issues with the HP Reverb devices. They're working on improvements for Steam DeoVR version however there's no ETA on when this will be released.

Appreciate the patience on this!
