It only lets me use the headset and a console controller when I use the Rift. Q2 still works but I'd prefer not to use a battery powered headset. I'm having no issues with my controllers or other software, just deoVR.
CV1 controllers no longer work with deoVR.
Hey bbrawl, can you please check your OpenXR settings in Steam VR? It should be set to Steam OpenXR if you're using non-Quest devices like Rift, or Oculus OpenXR for Quest devices.
Thanks!
VelvetEcho Not quite all Oculus/Meta headsets would normally use OpenXR Runtime via the Meta Quest Link (formerly Oculus PC Application), whereas Steam VR headsets (generally all Valve Lighthouse compatible headsets) usually would use OpenXR Runtime via SteamVR.
bbrawl Did you double check that your using the Oculus Touch Sensors (camera looking things) for controller tracking?
For me, Oculus Rift CV1 works perfectly fine with Oculus Touch controllers and everything except Passthrough AI videos simply don't work for me, strangely the other Passthrough options, Chromakey & Alphapacking, work as intented.

Not using SteamVR. I'm using the Oculus version. The Steam version also doesn't use SteamVR on a CV1 but has the same problem. I tried using a rolled back version for the working Handy connection and have the same error.

have you tried it recently. It only stopped for me with the latest version, around 2 days ago. It work a few times then it just stopped and only lets me use head tracking and a plugged in game controller. I noticed the name changed to DeoVR Rift but doesn't support the Rift?
All other VR software and the Oculus home app seem to be working fine.
bbrawl Do you get that obnoxious message at the top of the Oculus/Meta app saying something about setting up your Rift headset? (Maybe DeoVR is unable to track controllers because of this??)
Maybe try:
-Force Restarting the Meta PC app
-Setting Meta/Oculus as your OpenXR runtime
-Restarting your computer
-Backing up DeoVR settings (in-App), then uninstall it -> Reinstalling it
- Edited

Where do I set the runtime?
It is currently set to Meta Quest link which I think is the problem but the button is greyed out.
All the other things I tried and had no success and I think uninstalling and reinstalling is what caused the problem.
I'm fairly certain it worked for a while with the "no Handy" update and only stopped when trying the steps to fix it.
