  • What can be learned from LA Production

Wendigo VRSpy has my head coming out of my nipples in seated positions and constantly cuts the models head off because of it.

I think its because for sum reason he has the cam tilted downwards, I think aimed straight and try to get the cam back as possible so it's literally the guys head lol, would look better.

I know all them different angle positions especially like Czechvr would do during laying cg are very popular, but in pt you can really see how some angles and camera heights just don't work well in pt. Imo anyways, from what I've seen. 🤷‍♂️

vrpicasso The two scenes sucked, mostly because the camera was too far away,

Camera distances is such a weird thing to me because I often test the scenes with my Tantaly Big Asses and scenes where the distances are correct I see people complaining about it being 'too far away'. In other cases I see people praising the camera work and distances and then I test and the dick is in my navel when I get everything lined up.

So I'm at a loss at times. I just don't get it. I can't figure out why I an average height dude (6 feet) can think 'this is perfect' and then some people say 'I feel like I'm a giant' and stunt cock is at my knees'.

I've seen people say it's actually because they want to be close to the action and they don't care about 'realism' which is fine in the sense that whatever floats someone's boat isn't something I'll argue people 'out off'. Issue is that it's just not POV to me but something else.

Some times I think it's a height issue. We are not all the same height and that of course means our perception of 'too close' and 'too far away' differ but then I watch those stunt cock in navel scenes and I'm thinking that can't be it.

In any case I've found if I can't see the guy's nipples clearly then it's too close. It doesn't matter how far I bend my head my nipples and upper chest is always visible, so I expect to see them in a scenethat has 'correct distances'.

OliverDK For me - and especially with Nash vids - it is all about the seated cowgirl. If I am staring at the models solar plexus and her head is consistently cut off, it's too close and too low. This is 95% of Nash's scenes. Zooming out doesn't help since the model still has her head cut off.

I don't understand how he can spend so much time making sure the model awkardly waives her armpits and feet at us in every scene, but still can't seem to stop cutting the model's head off.

I haven't had the chance to watch the LA Productions scenes, but I'm planning on getting to them soon. I agree with all the discussion about overly scripted scenes. Less is more in VR porn. In VR porn: We need the bare minimum amount of pretext. We need cozy, colorful sets with perfect lighting. Most of all, we need authentic performances.

As Stormy Daniels testified in New York court recently, "The sex is real. The character names might be different, but the sex is very real. That's why it's pornography and not a B-movie." With VR, you have the chance for the performer(s) to be completely honest with their audience. In fact, I demand that the performers be honest with me.

Where I live, weed is legal. We have edibles that are cheaper (and easier on the stomach) than Advil. Watching VR porn while high is next level immersion. If a performance is fake, it stands out, no matter how beautiful the model. If I were directing, and you gave me a fake performance, you'd be sent home immediately. Fortunately, even from the bigger VR studios, you can find authentic performances if you look for them; sometimes, it's only 5 minutes of a one hour video where the magic happened.

So that's the job of the VR porn director. The director needs to set the scene in such a way that the performer is able to have authentic sex with the camera. The thing that's working against us is that mainstream porn has devolved into agents negotiating a performance by pricing out sex acts that we the audience are more familiar with as tags (or categories). Then, the director is obligated to check all those boxes, as is the performer. This does not produce authentic sex; and in VR the audience is less easily fooled.

aliso9 Wait... no more shoots from LA Productions in the future? I mean they must have a talented crew there and its not just the director. That would suck if they cease to operate. I thought their first 2 videos have been very impressive.

You know when you hear from comedians that they can't provide good content because of all the mob-member political bullshit? Same dynamic here. The very same viewers complaining that there isn't enough content, are the very same viewers who break their neck to involve themselves in drama, which puts pressure on the entire market to tread very softly. A reasonable, objective, rational person, who actually sincerely believed in the competency of females (as opposed to those who use it as a political football/virtue signal but secretly don't believe in the competency of females) might come to the conclusion that females who hear not only the rumors we hear, but way more (from being on the inside), could make their own decisions on whom they want to work with and not. It's a pretty simple calculus - let the free market operate and decide. But the useful idiots of today are too immersed in their Mass Formation Psychosis, and that is, despite the bs that is spouted, what really has a control of things - unless enough rational people fight back.

thatoculusdude We the people again are all different.
Lighting isn't a huge thing for me. I don't know if there is a different way to shoot a scene with low looking light and not look weird to some people. I liked the lighting because I feel like a lot of the scenes that are in a bedroom are lite up crazy bright. I would think most people don't have sex with every light on. It can feel more natural to me

Wendigo I think one of the problems with the camera looking different to different people is where we focus are attention when watching. If you watch a standing blowjob before the girl gets on her knees. She can look too tall but once she gets down then the distance can look correct. If you look at where your eyes are looking straight ahead and then look straight down. There is a few inches difference. I think Nash points the camera more at the dick so if you look up then it is too low.
Also I think how we are sitting while we watch makes a difference. If I watch doggy where the stunt cock is standing at the end of the bed and im sitting up. It can feel like it is too far away but if I actually stand up then all of a sudden it can feel like the right distance.
On top of all this I am 5'7" so that is a 5" difference to 6' tall.

I just watched the latest Nash scene Not Over It.
It was technically good. But I was bored. It really is the same thing different day.
Why doesn't he start the scene outside? There is a beautiful pool I can see out the window. She can be suprised to see me outside. She could flirt and grab my cock outside before she says we need to sneak inside. Something different.

After I got bored with the newest SLR Nash scene I turned on the latest VRSpy video Not For Sale to see what it looked like. Everything is the exact same except it is a different girl. It starts the same on a couch then on to the same positions in the bedroom. But you guys already know the order of the scenes.

Also in the Not Over Yet scene I wanted her to keep the mini skirt on at first. LA Production did a great job of keeping some hot ass clothes on at first. We don't need the girls naked the whole time. They are already naked 99% of the time in every scene on here.

Niteflyte puts pressure on the entire market to tread very softly

Most directors don't go around trying to lick performers pussies on set, so the only person affected is Jimmy.

At minimum, everyone on set should have a safe work environment and any sexual acts should be consensal. If that's too difficult for anyone then they should find themself another line of work. Being a decent VR director doesn't get Jimmy a free pass.

And not sure what free markets, the competency of females, or "Mass Formation Psychosis" has to do with anything.

OliverDK I also get confused by other people complaining or not complaining about camera distances where the opinions vastly differ from mine. I think it's mostly individual IPD variance, and to a certain extent headset / lens / prescription as well as where the user is focusing most. Like, I'm ok if a short model appears to be my height (I'm 6' 1) if the stunt cock is in the right place and scaling is good. It's not an exact science because we can only approximate viewing real life perception.

I did think there would be more consensus with pass-through because then you have a clear guide to where your body is and where the performers are, but even then there are differences in preference. All I can do is say what works for me, and hope that eventually the tech will enable more tuning to suit individual viewers.

        @vrpicasso @OliverDK @Wendigo
Do VirtualRealPorn, VRhush, and VrFuckpass look like the camera is at the right distance to you?
I'm just wondering how different we see the videos. To me I can't even watch them because it feels so so far away and big.
I do wonder who watches these studios. Do they look correct in PT to you?

rerun119 To me I can't even watch them because it feels so so far away and big.

This is what I find confusing because to me FuckPassVR is generally perfect in distance - in those scenes that offers AI PT I have to do little adjustments to get tpthe stunt cock to match my own.

I don't watch much VrHush so I can't but those scenes I have watched it's been ok but sometimes they mess up in doggy, eg. they ruined that position wiht their Lexi Luna scene, where they put the camera too close. I never watch VRP anymore as their scaling tended to be far too big.

They studio that tends to nail correct distance for me though is AllAnalWith (ironically I'm not an anal fan 😂) but there has actually been a few instances where I found the camera a bit too far away. Like in their doggy scene with Tiffany Rousso. There I wouldn't mind the camera was 10 cm. closer.

OliverDK they mess up in doggy

Imo this is great doggy cam position
            https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/the-2020-blues-16262?t=2168

Watch Ashley's doggy part, I hardly watch a lot of doggy butt this one here looks great cuz it looks realistically like I'm actually standing behind her instead my head hoover over mid back area.

I good indicator if it's a good doggy is if your laying down watching doggy and with out using any tilt looking down you can see almost her full back just by moving you head to look down, most times the cam is to forward and looking down you just see her head and then at point u need to use tilt.

But that right there is a great camera position for doggy.

When it looks like that I can watch doggy longer.

I think doggy position need some work.

Also we need more doggy like this
            https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/cum-covered-tits-5354

Their in doggy position but the guy is leaned back, I'd do regular doggy and add in the lean back doggy with cam moving back as well. It gets a great view of penatration. 👍

Vrsumo2017 good indicator if it's a good doggy

Another example you can tell it's a good doggy, imo

              Is the thumbnail trailer

See how you can practically see her whole back from behind and not from above just on the video trailer it self? that's because the cam is position further back. You can see where her hips get wider. Looks like you actually standing behind her. Not ur neck hoover over her mid back area.

Now compare that to a thumbnail like this

U can tell the cam to forward. And when it's like this when your standing and u look down, you practically have to touch ur chin to ur chest just to look down instead just glancing down with eyes. At that point you want use the tilt option.

For my personal taste I like it further back, now we could move it forward like face to face upclose during doggy but the male model would have to actually lean forward so it looka ealistic instead of the just cam is forward but the guy is standing straight up behind her.

If yall haven't seen koalavr moving headcam pov, any kind of position is possible just watch his moving cam video's. A director coulld learn a lot camera placements just by watching them videos. 👍

Vrsumo2017 it's of course subjective how we like doggy filmed. I can normally get on board with most of them as long as the distance is correct though.

Imho if I had to pick then MilfVR's scene with Lauren Pixie is one of the best doggy scenes filmed... https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/pixies-dick-41798?t=129 but I'm also a but biased course her bum is just perfect in my book and dhe knows how to 'stand' so i get an entire view of her headm back and bum. If I could make one criticism it is that the male model is a bit short, so I have to zoom out a bit to get it right.

OliverDK MilfVR's scene with Lauren Pixie

Yeah that's a good one, I like doggy with both models standing, so much more can be done just in that position alone, both standing doing doggy by the bed.

I mean why not go from a standing doggy to her turning around and they do a carry missionary, then toss her on the bed then go into her laying on bed and male still standing doing Mish. And then back to doggy while she on all fours on the bed, The camera already placed for standing position, do all the positions while cameras is set in one position. 👍
