vrpicasso There's a Meta update rolling out this month which has a big affect on PT. It makes screens easier to read by making everything dimmer, basically. Great for productivity, maybe not so great for porn. Colors are less vibrant now too. Just in case you're wondering why the hell PT looked so different. I guess I'll switch all my lights on now! Axxipiter For me the update was a big improvement to the passthrough. I use my Quest 3 in the evenings in quite low lighting. Before the update the view was grainy, but now the graininess has decreased considerably. Now it doesn't interfere viewing experience. I give it a thumbs up.
Vrsumo2017 I thought it look like they just lowered the saturation, but it looks better imo, less grain 🤷♂️

lolitovtb It looks a lot dimmer, but much better at the same time. I had screen brightness set to 80% before the update, so now I set it to 100% and the passthrough doesn't look dim anymore. The battery drains slightly faster tho
Vrsumo2017 lolitovtb I use mine low, like below half, it's looks aight less grain in dim rooms, small improvement 🤷♂️ I like the laying down mode tho, reminds of my gearvr days.
et232man Also make sure your Contrast setting is all the way up 👍. To adjust Contrast, go to Settings > Accessibility > Vision. you will see a slider for Contrast.
Hurto11 It looks better after the update but it’s pretty subtle. A little less grainy but overall nothing groundbreakingly different
fenderwq For me the image is much more stable which is great. It also looks quite a bit better. Love the update
