How do you like suggested videos feed?

We put a lot of effort to come up with the best content suggestions based on watching preference and come up with the best match.

Curios how do you like it and how do you explore for new stuff.

doublevr I’ve pretty much explored all I need to in the time I’ve been here so I generally just click on ‘New’ and skim through anything new since I was last on. Anything that looks good from a quick stream, gets a favourite and a watch later. It’s rare that I go more than 2 or 3 days without checking in so there’s never a huge backlog as I already filter out all of the studios that I never watch.

doublevr honestly I think one of the best features would be to see what videos are coming out for your favorite stars. I find myself having to go through my favorites pages one by one to see if they have anything upcoming and it would be nice to see a section with all upcoming for my favorites only.

doublevr I use this feature all the time. I'll usually check the New scenes released every day, but if there's nothing there that strikes me i'll go back to the "For You" page and start scrolling, never failed me yet

If there were millions of new scenes every day, like on Youtube, this kind of algorithm would be important. But there are only a handful, across all studios, once you filter out compilations, solo etc. So I always hit "new" and just check out what's dropped recently. Then I click favorite on anything I want to see in the headset, and if they are good enough I download them. That's my workflow.

vrpicasso I guess a typical user is more like a one or twice a week visitor trying to get his best in the next 20-30min session.

Requested data team to come up with consumption patterns. Really curious what it's like these days

For sure. A new user seeing 10,000 scenes would be a little lost without some suggestions, but I'm methodical and hate thinking there are good scenes available that I don't know about, so I would still go through every page, even if it took weeks 🙂

Would be interesting to know where most scene clicks come from at the beginning of a session. "New", "For You", playlist etc

I hit new and look through first few pages of new scenes, skipping over pretty much everything that isn't by one of the top studios

The users that this feature targets are probably not on the forum. I hide every studio or movie I don't like and keep up to date so it's pointless for me

I keep wondering why "for you" suggests videos I have watched (and liked) in the last couple of weeks. Sure, it's nice to be reminded of an older favorite to revisit, but I won't watch the same videos over again in a few weeks.
Maybe that could tie in with some solution to keep track of watched videos (as for now I either add them to favorites or a custom list).
Other than that, "for you" has reasonable suggestions.

Why can’t I display a feed showing all the videos from my favorited stars/studios?

Hi, I always get suggested lots of videos that are already in my playlists. Would be awesome if they could get filtered out, to make room for suggestions that I don't yet know about.
