2) Departure of quality studios. I think this one’s pretty self explanatory. VRBanger, Swallowbay are just two off the top of my head.
While I agree with the whole post I think that is the key. Having a lot of quality videos being released by quality studios is the most important factor. I don't know why but there seems to be a downward slide. Not sure why the studios that have left did so. Maybe have a re-look at the revenue splits? tbh I don't know what they are, but a suggestion.
Without quality content, having a great tech side of the business is not going to mean anything. You will not be able to command a premium price without premium content. No amount of passthrough or 6dof or whatever is next will change that.

It's not just me that is confused with the casting.
In all the years I've been here, I've never felt that your casting thread in this forum has worked;
The casting of the moment sholud include Gal-ritchie Millie-morgan.This is not my preference, I think your person in charge should go to have a few other studio accounts, read their content and reviews, don't stand in your own circle. Can you believe lexi luna，Aubree Valentine still in the list? Go to search how many scenes they shot the last two years.

Not one to complain really, but I am also disappointed by fewer SLR originals releases. VRSpy is a quality studio compensating a bit but one more SLRO vid per week would be great.
I guess quality of productions and talent comes in waves. Girls leave the business, producers quit, production shifts. 2-3 years ago, chicks like Kylie Quinn and Jamie Jett were still working and it's hard to find replacements of that calibre when OF is drawing so many away. Looks like all the big sites are slightly lacking in quality talent right now. And then some of the best girls get "enhancements" which is another topic 
I will say that looking at my keepers from SLRO, this year is much lower than 2022 and 2023, on a monthly basis. Passthrough has been a cool addition but now that's been disrupted and is headed for Europe so not sure what the future is there.
Best scene of the year for me is Venus Vixen's passthrough - she's a great find.
Vr content production should be an ecosystem just like tube sites with motivated individuals coming to the site and filming their best.

I would like to see more Raw Taboo series. In my case the Penny Barber scenes stands out as some of the best SLR content and certainly some of the best mom-son role-playing in VR ever. I would like to see similar with other top performers in this niche.

Imo it's because the directors take to much advice from the vr viewers, and a lot of them are worried about their "immersed" view, example many dislike anything that is non pov in vr, many dislike moving cams, many hate hands on, and directors stick with what makes the vr viewer happy, it handcuffs these vr directors from getting creative in vr, it mainly the same sex positions over and over in pov, basically same formula, being used"...in amateur vr porn you can find sum new camera angels and out the box directing, that kolavr studio with pov head cam you can find many new angles to use with regular high end vr cams.
Example
Say, they filming and seated cg rcg, girl gets up walks to a sofa bends over twerks ass rubs pussy, says come fuck me over here, model guy gets up walks over to her fucks her in that position for a minute and then we cut to original pov view.
You know what will happen? Viewers will complain about the 1 minute non pov part and say it broke their immersion, like if a brick on your face wasn't enough to break your immersion, lol
But after that, the director won't do that any more and he just goes back to the same formula. But adding that short non pov part was awesome.

I would agree it’s more of a weird combination of factors with vocal minority being stressed with fewer releases where it’s harder to match your expectations. It's more of perceived value for money issue with fewer releases. Looking forward for upcoming brand new Passthrough series.
As up for casting it's always a drama of trying out new faces v bringing the same stuff all over again. Others might play a safer bet on it where we are willing to experiment.
I admire tube content with all sorts of variety and shooting techniques no one would ever think of. Curious how can we get there. That’s why we started Originals in the first place, because no one was doing it right and up until now we are leading it in every aspect.
