I really dont get the faked up hype about spatial video, I was looking at the samples on meta headset, and I just don't get it, I mean... if a TV look like that then very cool! 🤯 ...but to watch it in a vr headset when I already been on beaches, biking contest, walking down Vegas, roller coasters, jumping out air planes, experiencing vr and ar porn all in vr180 or 360 the spatial video is just meh, imo 🤷‍♂️

Vrsumo2017 Most likely the price is the reason imho. $3500 simply makes it unattainable for most people - after they paid for a laptop and phone.

I also have my doubts that Apple expected a 'success'. I think it's simply a way to garner knowhow on what to do and what not to and get a eco-system going. I read somewhere Apple first expect VR/AR to go mainstream 2029-2030 so why would they not wait if it wasn't to garner needed knowhow and get an eco-system up and running for the real deal 5 years from now.

Then again I could be wrong.
