The inverting chroma toggle is useful to have only the model visible in a video. Take a video and let's apply red. Let's say its values (from top to bottom) [ 0, 100, 100, X, 1000 ] with Range X being a number you set until you do not see the model anymore.
Now press the invert chroma toggle. You should see only the model (or matching colors).
This "red" color key can be expanded to include brown [ 15, 100, 75, X, 1000 ] or blonde [ 10, 100, 25, X, 1000 ] hair for example. Follow the steps above.
Falloff can also be brought down to 995 or 990 to soften the model into your environment.
Hope this helps. I think this may be an under-utilized feature, using invert toggle.
