I am wondering what actions will be derived from this poll. If 'quality' doesn't win, will the conclusion be to spend less resources on quality improvement? And if 'talent' is going to win (at 57 % right now), how would this affect the existing casting process/routine?
I am missing the goal of getting back to a variety of directors. This seems to be the most critical issue at this point.
Quality of scenes (Camera placement, scale, sex positions) nah! I don't think this need improving at all, Nash already nailed those and I genuinely believe you're the best in the industry in this term.
I voted for 'Talent' That's where I think there's room for improvement. I believe BDVR are the leaders in this department and they set the bar too high, so you need more effort to keep up with them.
As for niches? VR porn is kinda niche overall, right? PT specifically is even more niche still. I'd love to see more of that. There's this also, it's a bit unfortunate that none of the top models are embracing the long-haired armpit look anymore, think it goes back to the days of Riley Reid and Stoya. So it would be awesome if you can find stars with this feature.

How do you mean BDVR's casting is way better and setting the bar too high? You can find almost all of their performers on SLR as well.
More top classic pornstars (Romi Rain, Kayla Kayden, Mckenzie Lee, Nikki Benz, Nicole Aniston) or newer stars with that 'look'. More MILFs. I feel like there's been slightly less since Alex Mack left. More interesting sets/locations and narratives, use extras on set that don't necessarily have to be involved in any nsfw way but to increase immersion. All stuff that's been said before many times.
Not sure you consider "anal" as a niche but if not then that would be "Other" since there is a lack of anal scenes.

I kind of wish for slr to also bring proper asmr in vr, something like what [mind under master does], they do really good asmr videos something like that in vr will be

For me it would be better executed stories. Since you only have Nash at the moment, he is really good at camera placement already imo.

I love Nash scenes but there is so much more that can be done. After the first 5 minutes of telling a story of why everybody is there then it's into the same thing everytime.
Spend more time and money on starting the scene outside then move to the kitchen, then to the back porch.

I’m curious if you have looked into finding a director in Australia. I don’t know what the filming laws are there, but there are many different ethnicities that you could tap into (especially Asians). I would think you could do uncensored JAV, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, etc. from there.
I would love to see some video styles similar to Watch 4 Beauty, InTheCrack, and/or FTVGirls. They are all solo scenes but done very well. The girls from Watch 4 Beauty are especially gorgeous. I know your solo scenes haven’t necessarily done well in the past, but I honestly just felt like they were not filmed well. For example, the Alex De La Flor scene. Alex is sexy as fuck and the beginning of the scene with her was fun, but when she started playing with herself, the camera angles weren’t the best. Close ups with slow camera movements to get various angles are important. But, despite all that, I was still very happy that you got a scene with her. I love seeing these rare-to-VR models.
Would love to start a series where the models mostly direct their own scenes. Let them get into it and enjoy some raw sex. If they want to do non-POV, let them. If they want to do POV, let them. Each one would have their own style, which would provide some much needed variety. Just have the pros there to help with camera angles and other VR nuances.
SchnuppiLilac You know that what comes after 'I believe' is basically subjective, right? Mostly considered as a personal opinion. But come on, if you really compare the casting of these two studios head to head, month by month, you'll see Badoink consistently coming out on top. Sure, SLR had a killer casting lineup back in March and April 2023, but apart from that, Badoink is where it's at.
What I mean is when I tell you that BDVR has recently released a scene with Eve Sweet, you tell me: 'But bro, SLR already shot a scene with her like 2 years ago.' No, that's not how it works. SLR, on the other hand, should've released a scene with a star as good as Eve. It's just an example, don't keep harping on it and tell me they brought Agatha Vega, I know and it's still not enough.
When I say 'good casting,' think about what VRSpy is doing. They're pretty much nailing it, except for maybe one or two names you're not crazy about. But even with that, Badoink still beats VRSpy regarding the monthly production quantity.
All this doesn't mean I'm biased at all, my favorite scenes are SLR's, and I still prefer SLR filming over Badoink's. Unfortunately, Badoink are still behind when it comes to video quality.
I also agree with having scenes with high profile MILFs, especially ones with big tits (real and fake). MILFs typically know how to dirty talk and work the camera better.

I've said it before. Get someone in contact with some of the larger names on sites like ManyVids and help them (maybe with equipment and knowhow). I know of a few larger names that said they say are interested in VR or actively looking at it but also say it's difficult because there's so much to learn and expensive. These names could maybe end up on SLR if you were proactive seeking them out. Could maybe be an idea with a joint venture?
The raw taboo series seem popular and you have names like Penny Barber, Cory Chase, Larkin Love, Reagan Foxx, Jodi West, etc. that all would excel in this series. I would love to see more of that.

I still dont know what system they use, but I'm still guessing its a dual sony camera system given their low light look and they are still not even shooting 8k. I wish they had american talent but I get why they dont but that would be my only complaint, they still have an use some of the best european girls to date and I love european talent.
