It's out of sync since like May this year, there were threads about it but nothing changed. In some version they said that this issue is fixed but it's not. I just deducted that SLR abandoned AI masks for some reason, or just abandoned DEOVR.

This applies only to a few cases, not all scenes. We are working on resolving this issue, and it will be fixed soon.
Also we have not abandoned PTAI and are constantly working on improving the mask detection method.

Nordjoker It applies to all videos. Just like people are reporting since May, but I guess you finally found it. Better late than never I guess.

ML can’t handle non-normalized (variable) FPS — it expects constant frame intervals for mask generation.
AV1 (NVENC) encoder normalizes timestamps and writes its own FPS (different from H.264/H.265). When encoded on CPU, FPS matches H.264/H.265.
Scene 67011 confirmed to have Variable Frame Rate (FrameRate_Mode=VFR, 59.665 avg, min 0.169, max 59.94).
For some videos we have problem with offset for mask (for Quest now we have value 4, on AVP -3), this is still being investigated as it appears mostly on H265, but similar happens also on AV1
A few videos there is mask desync, where mask needs to be improved from ML side
When does abnormal FPS happen?
Usually when the master file contains broken or skipped frames.
During transcoding, encoders interpret them differently — CPU keeps the timing consistent, GPU normalizes it, creating an FPS mismatch.

man now even new releases (Cubbi Thompson) are broken as soon as they come out. Cmon guys, go back to the old website or something please. This is ridiculous. Almost a full month now of broken AI Passthrough. A main sell of your site. This is extremely disappointing. Drop everything else and get this fixed. PLEASE

I am confused. I thought fixing this AI PT issue was a priority for a couple of weeks and the problem has been identified a while ago. Now it turned into something the 'team' will look into?

AlexSLR Seriously, I’ve been emailing the support team back and forth for the past 2 weeks and I keep hearing “this is a top priority, we’re working on it” and now it’s “thanks I’ll let the team know” as if it’s your first time hearing of this???

Us passthrough fans would like to know wtf is going on.

Reposting from other thread because I don’t think it’s being looked at by SLR employees.

Another week goes by and still no fix. Please, I don’t understand how this could take so long. Can we get some type of real update instead of “we’re working on it”??????

fapsk There is probably a huge list of things they are working on, dont assume they are a team of like 500 people because I imagine their team is much smaller than that.

Giving a timeframe may not be a good idea if you fix a problem and its inside of another problem that needs to be fixed first. If that makes sense.

sogman you work for them on a burner or something? This should be a priority for them, it’s a main feature and sell for their site. It’s the reason some people use it over other services. You fix the important stuff first, not minor bugs and shit on the website. Fix what people are actually using the service for and fix the jank ass website later. I don’t care what the website does, I care that the videos on my oculus work. Do you not see how many other people are asking for this? Do you not think it’s weird that basically only their videos are the ones that are broken? Why on Earth would that not be a priority? To make sure their own originals from their studio that people subscribe to their site for are actually working… doesn’t really seem like a big ask

I mean there is literally a thread from an employee saying “AI PT fix is top priority” That was TWO WEEKS ago. You think your “top priority” would be fixed a bit quicker than that or that you would at least be more informative to your subscribers on what’s going on

Yes.. everyone is aware SLRO PT is not working as intended. Everyone has asked about it, myself included...

No. Because SLR uses much more high tech camera equipment that no other studio is using. Not sure if you were aware of that? A backend migration into a new website is not apples-apples with other studio equipment unfortunately.
But you personally need to chill. You have like 10 or 15 posts on your profile and every single one is about this. Spamming is not going to change anything, its just kinda obnoxious tbh. Everybody has their idea of what 'top priority' is, and most people have more than one thing.

We all want the passthroug fixed, you arent like a lone wolf on this dude lol. Its not like they dont care about their flagship videos; they were not cheap to produce..
