trooowiii I have been testing adding my own custom background images from pictures I took with the same 8k camera they use, but my lens is not modded like their lens is, so my IPD is 60mm instead. Makes the background, at least close parts seem slightly larger than they should, but overall if I can position my camera about the same height and angle as they did (mostly trial and error) at this point, I get some really crazy super high quality real life 8k backgrounds on PT scenes which is awesome.

    trooowiii exactly, thats the point. supposedly one of their future app updates will allow you to swap custom backgrounds whether you want to use CGI or other user submitted ones. They even mentioned that you would be able to program backgrounds to change at certain time stamps, meaning each angle change.
    They need to seriously streamline and simplify PT videos so we can make all sorts of backgrounds for these videos. I've got pretty good test results and measurements for one of their scenes so far. My next step is to go out somewhere and shoot actual video so I can render out the scene with a moving video background instead of a static picture, which should be even crazier. Imagine being on a beach with people walking around, the sounds, the immersion should be awesome.

    One big problem tho is the male character, right now you just have a floating penis with a custom background and no way of putting your actually body instead. I'm also working on a few solutions to that, but for now the SLR team has said they may shoot the male with a different greenscreen suit so that you can then chroma out the body separate from the background, so then your body would peek through that silhouette. That sounds ok, but I'm looking into better solutions. That or simply keep the original male body altogether like their first scenes. It doesnt personally take away from the PT immersion for me if I dont see my body, its the surroundings that really make a difference for me, not the male. To each their own I guess, but people dont seem to mind seeing the male body in non-PT scenes but suddenly wont accept the male body in PT scenes despite the awkwardness of constantly having to adjust and move around just to line it up somewhat closely. haha

                  Hey. Yes the process runs 24/7 but there is no estimation unfortunately. We have 250+ videos in the queue and we haven't added all the requests from this thread yet. We put higher priority to customers requests yet trying to process all new releases. Sort of trying to keep reasonable balance.

                      trooowiii 100% in agreement with you. The reason i bring up the male model is because all of their scenes with a male model are very inconsistent from a technical standpoint when you try to layer in a custom background. If you go and watch any of those PT videos that were recently remade with CGI backgrounds you will notice that there is no male model or a way to insert yourself in there. I have a workaround to do that but I need to streamline the testing process and right now i am still working on reverse "engineering" all of their camera heights and positions through trial and error haha
                      A super quick way to negate all of that effort and extra work would be to simply include the male body moving forward, but I understand why people would rather see themselves, its just that with custom backgrounds its a little more technical to incorporate that as a "third" layer, but its doable. I've got plenty of ideas, hopefully they approve my request to join their PT 2.0 program so I can at least share them with their group.

                                bruce actually it works now! My issue was because I had enabled PT before and somehow it saved some old PT settings. I had to switch back & forth, and change the old chroma key color. Then AI PT started to work. I had this issue for some other scenes but eventually doing that fixed it so all good.
                                Great job all in all, I quickly looked every scene that was rendered, some are not perfect but it does the job.
