doublevr The deeper the rabbit hole goes the clear it gets there's no place for the channel on SLR. Let's make the industry a great and safe place everyone enjoys. Glad we cleared it. Thx everyone for contribution and feedback. Case closed 👩⚖️
ItsForTheArticles doublevr I am glad this decision was made. Regarding Lacy's post, please try to look for opportunities to include performers who have interest in production work (directing, camera, etc...).
doublevr g2kbuffetboy Any time. Thx for all the support and feedback ❤️ It wouldn't have been without you guys.
vrpicasso parsec it makes sense for the best performers to also be good at directing (just like in Hollywood) and they also have a sympathetic attitude to the talent and instant rapport. Lacy is one of the best in VR and has a strong enough personality to control a set. Having big names behind the camera would also be a good PR move, just need to make sure they get the technical side of VR right. You could turn this whole drama into something positive.
vrpicasso Thanks, that was the only choice I think. Hopefully no lasting damage has been done to the brand. What will happen to the scenes he already shot?
[deleted] doublevr If that actually is the main reason, I can translate it differently but whatever, let's move one 🤷♂️
rerun119 vrpicasso I agree with this statement. I don't know if Lacy would be a good director or not but she is one of the best actors in VR so it seems like she knows what we are looking for. @doublevr is would be awesome if this whole thing turned into finding a great director. The scene Breakfast is Bed is said to be directed by Leana Lovings. I know it doesn't have the biggest numbers but I personally loved how it was made. It was a little different than other scenes, in a good way. Good Luck in finding an awesome director in the future.
petermc I’m pleased this decision has been made. I suppose I now have a decision to make whether I continue to support the site going forward.
doublevr [deleted] there was a ton of personal communication with performers and related people. I really appreciated how the whole team got involved and connected figuring things out. It's totally for everyone's better.
petermc doublevr Well, I suppose the correct decision was made in the end, however we got there. Hopefully lessons learned all round and I can go back to discussing trivial porn things rather than serious stuff like this. That wasn’t fun.
chanser I'm really glad this has turned out like this, the community has shown it's self to be concerned with the safety and wellbeing of the actresses and also for the long term future of SLR. The leadership of SLR has listened and responded appropriately. I was worried about where things were going but I definitely feel reassured now and look forward to what is coming in the future. I will continue to subscribe.
doublevr chanser we all people. It's the first time we have got ourselves in situation like this and it was all new. The only thing I'd wish looking backwards is to have more respectful communication between opposing sides. Agressive folks was the major thing that triggered my resistance as it seemed like some just want to propell it.
