The too-close up mish limit

Hi All

Just wanted to tell the studios out there, that (If you film mish) when only the upper torso and face are in the shot, its too close. I can understand why the Japs do it, so that they dont have to censor, but if theres no other point then its just a bad shot which adds nothing that isnt better done a little backed up. Disagree with me.

ableman If it's all the missionary there is then yes I would agree with you.

Personally though I prefer facial close up in missionary/cowgirleve even closer and if the actress continuesly stare right into my eyes I am in heaven. If she also know hot to real life sex talk to me it's even better - porn talk though then not so much.

ableman Totally disagree with you! That's exactly the POV you'd expect in that position, so there's nothing wrong with that. Personally closeup missionary is my favorite position!

SLR studio, and Alex Nash specifically, shoot the best closeup mish in the industry thanks to their 220° fisheye camera lenses, other studios do shoot this position with their 180VR FOV, their results are mostly acceptable but always feels like they're lacking something.

I don't know how you watch VR porn, lying down, sitting, standing?! You fap, use a torso or a toy? But here's a tip to get the best experience out of this position or any other position: Mirror the guy's body position in the scene. Trust me, it elevates the whole thing for you 😉

Obviously I don't speak for all VR enjoyers, but it's so much more intimate and the phantom-sense feeling is far more pronounced the closer they are. If I get cross-eyed, then yes, they are too close. This usually happens during kissing scenes in JAV though, not much in western VR videos.

Ah yes, another reason I forgot to mention. You can see their gorgeous eyes much better up close. This is why 6DoF can't come soon enough. Zooming in with your video player ruins scaling. With 6DoF porn, everyone can be satisfied.

we are all different. i see cloeups as a poinless excercise and never watch them, but then i like conent others dont. im glad we get a mix of stuff to keep everyone happy.

I guess you've never seen CzechVR's close missionary? I find it to be significantly better than Alex Nash's, even with the 180 FOV.

[deleted] The problem with the way it looks when Nash shoots it imo. Is that if you look down to where your dick is, it miles away. Plus if the male puts his arms to the side of the girl then it looks like my arms are coming out of my ribs.

I addressed the OP last time, but now I'm turning to the thread's title. as they seem totally irrelevant to each other 'too-close up mish'.

Getting too-close might be a thing IRL, but in VR? Not so much. It just ends causing blurriness and gives the crossed eyes effect. Gonna point out two scenes that came to my mind for reference 'Raw taboo: Top Marks ft Melody Marks' and 'In A Past Life ft Kiara Cole' both shot were by Alex Nash. Great scenes, no doubt, but the closeup mish angles? Missed the mark a bit. If that camera had just been an inch higher, we'd be golden.

So yeah, there's should definitely a limit that needs to be respected in terms of how close the camera can get to the model's face.

Hairsational rerun119 That issue doesn't really bother me. I don't know, maybe I trick my mind into believing it's real or just got used to it, but I still get the full immersion since I mainly focus on the facial expressions and boobs. And speaking of CzechVR, I was referring to them when I mentioned 'other studios,' along with 18VR and POVR. But SLR is still my favorite when it comes to this position.

rerun119 Lol, when I look down it feels like John Strong has got me in the wheelbarrow position! And the girls are always propped up on a ton of pillows just feels like you are floating in the room! CzechVR is far superior in every way!!

as long as it's not so close that the shot is out of focus then I'm all for it. close-up view of a beautiful woman's face is one of my favorite things in VR

Viper07 Agreed, It can still be just as close and look natural.
@alexnash have you seen other ways that people shoot close mish? With both people looking more correct positioned in the VR headset and still being close and intimate.
