The downloads in the last few days for many videos are unplayable on Gear VR / S8 (US Snapdragon).

Even with the "low" 4k h264 file, the resolution is too high (4320 x 2160) and it's a stuttering unwatchable mess on the S8/snapdragon.
If I resize the file with ffmpeg to 3840x1920 it works fine, but that's not a good solution as takes many hours to do the resize.
