There are some decent scenes (and I am especially looking forward to the Agatha 4some) but it seems that Nash is the only one doing these. If Nash is gone from SLRO, it would be over as far as I'm concerned.

      You can say all you want about "ethical porn" or "sexual wellness" but if you don't actually walk the walk, it's just marketing buzzwords. You deserve all of the backlash and more for this.

      Ethical porn means that you only hire and work with and partner up with people who are true professionals and no known abusers and predators. That's all.

Then why hire someone like this Jimmy guy and have him 'take care' of the actresses? It makes no sense and is a lose/lose situation for SLR, the actresses and your customers. It only is good for Jimmy, who can lay his hands on actresses again.

        I love SLR, you guys simply are on top of the industry right now, but hiring this Jimmy guy is just a really bad move.

          All the productions are voluntary. SLR is totally not involved with Jimmy castings. All the productions are voluntary. If performers are not okay with him they won’t book with him or they can get out of set any time like they do from time to time with or without reason (oh boy, you don’t want to know these porn set stories).

          He runs his channel and his production. We are not telling whom to shoot, what to shoot nor how to shoot.

            I'm confused about the AI mosaic as well. Aren't JAV scenes published on SLR already censored for the original release? Maybe this just means more SLR originals will be published on Japanese market

                        This guy has a history of sexual assault, corroborated by many, many credible accounts of his predatory behavior by leading performers. Wankz was boycotted by many of the most highly requested talent for years because of this, and I’m not sure they ever fully recovered, tbh.

                        Many performers, especially new faces (as Alex Coal was at the time she was preyed upon) are hesitant to “quit any time they like” for fear they get a reputation of being difficult to work with. There’s a power dynamic there that I’m positive you’re perfectly aware of. Any association SLR makes with that producer, knowing this, is irresponsible and reprehensible. And anyone that then enables you to enable that producer are complicit. Period.

                        @doublevr if you had any business savvy at all you would run, not walk, away from Jimmy “Lifestyles”. But you already have a track record of pride, stubbornness, and belligerence towards reasoned feedback, so I’m sure this too is a waste of time and energy.

                        Good luck to this studio if you go forward with this particular decision.

                          Oof, literally nothing exciting planned for 2024 was mentioned in this post. This stuff all sounds boring and the Jimmy Draws stuff is just disgusting and shameful unless you have reason to believe Alex Coal is a liar. No one should be giving this creeper financial opportunities or really any opportunity that puts him in a position of power over women.

                          You could have at least talked about plans for improved casting or better communication on the casting forum page( how many +1's does it take to get a simple answer?)

                            Like you, I believe in no way she is a liar. I remember the interview she gave on this. There were ugly details that you could go and verify yourself within the scene she shot that day. Wankz pulled the scene… not something they would likely have done if she was lying. But then there were the prior and similar accounts by other well respected and absolute professional performers, see the list below…

                                I don't really follow the industry, so had no idea who Jimmy Lifestyles was until this post. Did a little searching and found that he created a Vimeo account and posted a public apology. Wanting to see what he had to say so I tried to watch it. Apparently he has replaced it with a pretty fucked up satirical Barbie doll video about getting into the porn industry. Multiple articles originally published back in 2019 with links to the original video of the actual apology all seem to point to this replacement video. I could understand if he didn't want it to be public anymore and just took it down. But to replace it with that shit tells me everything I need to know about him.

                                Pretty messed up that SLR is going to do business with someone like this.

                                  I remember that apology. The only remorse he showed was for getting called out on his behavior. The “apology” was insincere, emotionally unhinged, and spent more time making excuses and casting blame than owning up to any wrong-doing. His posts since, as you can see, tell the real story of where his thinking is. As others have said, that guy should be nowhere near a professional porn shoot.
