How would this work when they'd project the face/body of a porn star onto such model? I guess that would pretty much be like that volucap tech that @doublevr described in that other thread https://volucap.com/3d-humans/

Right now what I hate most about VAM is that it's so cumbersome and and the scripts are just too 'robot' like. But would it be that hard to take a real porn scene and have AI recreate that for such 3d model, so translate a real scene into script? Anyway probably should post this in a different thread 🙂 But it feels like we're getting pretty close to such future.

Would using a male sex doll make production any easier? I'm not suggesting a partial torso, but a full size doll.

The head could be removed allowing better camera placement.

The doll could be painted eliminating the body suit.

The doll will always be the same height and body shape.

The penis could be swapped out for different shoots, flesh, black, passthrough.

This could work and save production cost on male performers. It would take some special acting skills on the part of the female talent to generate any kind of realistic chemistry with a doll though.

And just think, this could be the future of PT cumshots LOL!

        It might be challenging to shoot positions like closeup missionary with this though. We'd also miss out on creampie finishes.

          Yeah missing out on real cumshots is definitely a thing. But other than that there are lots of advantages as pointed out here above and by yourself. Really looking forward to SLR exploring this idea.

          We already have a few examples of this on SLR. They where okay but didn't really work for me. The cumshot thing is one important aspect but the other aspect is that I have yet to see a dildo that did a half convincing job of actually looking like an actual cock while being sucked and fucked by a girl.

          Then there is the dynamic of the scene. Girls usually act differently when they do solo scenes (with a male torso). They tend to be less intense or something/ or lack something, hard to put my finger on. But if I had to guess it must be very different doing a solo scene as opposed to fucking an actual guy even if he is wearing a alpha suit. Probably also depends a lot on the acting skills and experience of the girl though. Can see someone like Kira Perez pulling this of with easy while a new girl might really struggle.

            fenderwq this exactly. I think girls don't react the same fucking a doll rather than an actual male talent. I'm skeptical the scene would be as real and dynamic as with a male talent.
            Also the lack of real creampie/cumshot = big nope (unless you can swap the doll with an actual talent for "the ending").

                I think swapping the male performer for a doll would be a horrible idea. Maybe its worth a shot for a single vid with a girl that does only solo as an experiment but, like others have said the difference between a real dick and a dildo is really noticable. I would be really dissapointed and probably end my membership if PT ever switched to exclusively using sex dolls.
                I really enjoy both non-PT and PT vids right now. I love pretending getting handsy and rough with the actressess in PT but theres a lot of people who dont like PT and still want that from their regular vr scenes. All in all tho PT AI dosent really do much for me rn as, the regular PT vids just look soo much better imo. I cant see PT AI fullfilling what I like about reg PT without damaging the veiwing experince for the regular VR folk enjoyers (which I also am).

                  Lots of good suggestions made. Please try to include standing content, specifically standing BJ. For the future, is it possible with current tech to make it so you could actually walk around a model, like real 6dof?.

People who don't even understand why you're doing it are going to get angry. So it would definitely be best that IF you guys are going to experiment with this, best to have the 'girl only' option as default for those scenes, so people would immediately see their own dicks instead of a doll, making it much easier to understand and enjoy it instead of getting angry LOL

                      And about the possible downsides... Well the cum part obviously is something real, cum is a very important part of porn. Definitely worth trying multiple ideas here. Other than that I don't worry too much about the dynamics of the actress and the doll. I think what a lot of people don't really understand is that those girls are acting in the first place! Sure, sometimes there might be some real chemistry going on between actor and actress but most of the times she won't be even interested in the guy, or worse, even dislike/detest him. He pretty much is a 'doll' in her mind anyway which she needs to fuck to do the scene. So I'm sure most of the times this won't be really an issue.

                      Other than that, there are enough advantages here, apart from the main goal of making the 'girl only' option work so much better and have people see their own dicks instead of an actor. The fact that SLR could use girls that normally wouldnt do porn with an actor is a great bonus, as the fact that production would become easier AND cheaper, which is good for us too, since SLR could use that money for producing more scenes, better gear, etc. Definitely worth at least exploring this idea.

                      Personally I think the PT Is headed in the right direction. I agree with what others have said about it almost ruining VR for me as that’s all I want to use now. I think this scene with Anna bell Peaks would be a great candidate for PT AI male actor removal.                       doublevr Definitely!! If you start the regular DeoVR feed (so not SLR) and then select passthrough you'll find 'salsa lesson'. I thought this scene was really well done, especially sind you don't see any clipping and the interesting thing is that the background is black.

                        Silly-Sausage Agreed on the reduction of SLR originals!! When I bought my lifetime subscription, there was almost daily a new scene. Now we're lucky if there even are 2 in a week. I get that pretty much all other VR sites also only do 1-2 scenes a week, but this is not what I bought into.

                        Honestly SLR originals is the only reason I even subscribed, pretty much all other scenes here are pretty amateurishly shot with low quality girls. SLR is on top of this industry right now, that's for sure, but damn, only 1-2 scenes a week sucks and not in a good way. Sure, if SLR wouldn't exist we wouldnt even have much PT scenes (I think the only other studio out there is CZech AR porn at the moment), but damn, kinda hard to go back from almost daily an SLR scene to once a week.

                          It's true. I just checked it's even worse than I thought. If you look at scenes 9 months ago, there were 16. If you look at the scenes 1 month ago there are only 4 !! Anyway probably something for a different thread but this is surely disappointing. Even more so since, obviously everybody has different tastes and not everybody will like a certain scene equally. I for one dont really care for girls with small/regular tits, I need big tits. So for me only 1 girl in the last 4 scenes really did it for me.

                            Bro what I do is lower the contrast and lower the brightness on pt videos, cuz in q3 in pt with my lamp on its not same level of brightness as it is in my room so lowering contrast and brightness works out good. What usually do is lower contrast all the way low or close to and bring brightness down to match up, just mess around it. I think it helps a lot 👍
