harigeharry Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah, 2.6 is out. I’m talking about 26–for this fall’s releases, Apple is changing how it does version numbering across all its platforms so that they all match, and is using the following year (since these releases occur later in the year) to do so.
That said, I never ran 2.6. So I can’t confirm whether or not whatever change they made to 26 that breaks this trick has also been rolled into 2.6. So, I’d still be cautious anyway.
