Edit: I think you mean AVP compatible format (Apple's custom version of mp4).

doublevr Looking forward to it. Just to clarify will all new SLR Originals get the AVP compatible encoding or ALL videos on the SLR site get encodings? If its only the new SLR Originals moving forward it looks like there is an upcoming release tomorrow, "Nympho Alchemy: Method Acting".

      doublevr I just tested, all new video's seem to default to 1080p, can't set it higher it seems. The colors are still washed out and the frame rate is not high enough, so it all still looks quite bad. But I understand you guys are working on it.

      When I download a video and THEN play it (with moonplayer for example), it works perfectly. And it looks SO good, much better than the Quest3 !! So really hoping you guys can get that going, preferably via the deoVR app. But it's my understanding that the dev is working on that. Can't wait 🙂

      And moonplayer still doesnt do passthrough of course. But man, it looks good, it's going to be awesome when it's all up and running!

          harigeharry "can't set it higher it seems" you mean max possible quality setting you see is 1080 and there is no option higher than that, do I understand you correctly?

              Kieshi Actually I just tried again and I see that I actually can set it back to 1920p, which was the higest playable resolution before. That works. But anything higher and it flips back to 1920p. Colors still washed out and frame rate seems a problem. What it seems to me is that it doesnt sync the hz to the headset, it plays for example at 24 hz while the headset plays at 90 hz, causing continually small hickups, so it seems something like that. What I'm saying is, it seems the same effect when you try to play a 24 hz video on a TV that syncs at 90hz. Since 90 cant be evenly divided by 24, this then causes small hiccups every second or so. It feels like a hz mismatch between the display's frequency and what the software sends to the headset.

                      Hi guys, we have released a new player and all new videos (that were released since 16.04) are available to play on AVP in 8K quality (4000р).

                      The drawback is that we need time to convert the whole library to AVP compatible format, which will take time and in the meanwhile there might be problems with watching these unconverted old videos on AVP.

                        Kieshi Just tried it. None of the videos actually work anymore. They're all stuck with a circle at the loading scene. Actually there's 1 video that still works and that's the one here in this thread.

                        BTW they also dont work in 2D anymore. If I "dont allow" VR mode I see that loading icon circling on the 2d screen too. Same for old video's as the latest ones (so again, except that one in this thread, that's the only video that plays)

                            So, videos going forward from ID 42998 will be already AVP compatible, for example this one https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/gang-bang-with-my-friends-star-aya-goldie-43020

                            From this ID we started conversion this Monday.
                            Everything that is older than that will be converted over next moth or so.

                            We are doing our best to bring them around in 8k as fast as we can!

                              Kieshi Yes sir that one works at the max resolution, which is great! Colors still washed out and there's still the framerate issue. But at least, it's progress again!!

                              BTW regarding the framerate it almost looks like it runs like at 30 fps max, something like that. I'm sure your team must have noticed it, same regarding the colors. Is a fix close? Or do we need to wait for Apple to release an update maybe?

                                Kieshi Not working for me. It worked for like a split second, but otherwise I’m back to the grey screen with nonfunctional play button and endless loading wheel, in both VR and non-VR.

                                  Kieshi Interesting. I posted that, then tried it again and it worked this time. Only works for me at 1920, and if I try to increase resolution, it not only doesn’t work, but I have to reload to even get 1920 to work again.

                                    mrdiscreet918 Yeah as @Kieshi says, ID should be minimum 42998. I quickly tried and found these:

                                    Key is that you cant change the resolution in immersive mode. Change the resolution, exit immersive mode and then enter it again and it will work. Or change it from flat mode, not 100% you can even do that LOL but if so, that should also work.

                                    Either way it still looks quite bad, so right now it's more than a gimmick than something usable. But damn what does it look good on the AVP if you download the video, so honestly can't wait till they get this going without having to download.

                                    BTW make sure you have followed the steps that were given in the first post of this thread to enable webXR.

                                        harigeharry How are you searching? I found several titles above 42998 that didn't work, but the two you posted work.

                                        Thanks for the tip about changing resolution, that worked.

                                        Are you downloading directly on Apple Vision Pro? I tried that and couldn't play the downloaded file directly. Would love to know your process.
