  • A-B loop - can we improve this?

Multiple AB loops would be fantastic. In fact it would be a true game changer for the DeoVR app... You could mark the whole video with your favorite segments of the scene and next time you play the scene you will see all your favorite parts in a row. Also if it becomes savable data so you don't risk losing it would be amazing as well. At the bottom of the UI it could list something like:

A-B 2:24-4:59
C-D 7:34-8:45
E-F 11:55-14:21

With a 'save all' button and a 'clear all' button

And so on.....

Skybox seems to remember one A-B loop for a while. I use this for downloaded video viewing, which is nice because there is no lag.

I like the solo time tag idea but man if we could customize multiple a-b loops like described above there would be much less need for downloading for at least some subbers like myself.

All the hottest parts you now can have as saved right as you cue up your favorite videos.

You could also have a 'looped' video category in the menu that will show all the videos you have created specific loops for.

    Game changer!!!

Premium users can enjoy Build Your Own Journey (BYOJ), which is same as multiple A-B loops organised as you wish. This is one reason I bought it and good selling point for premium.

Picouser you're right. I found that out recently. I reccomend it to everyone now but I will admit the extra effort of writing down the specific start and stop times for each clip along with the scene number and scene title or actress name(both optional but helpful for organization) and then entering BYOJ to paste all that info is a bit daunting - it's too much work sometimes and I just don't even bother. The idea he has above would be better and I support it but I doubt it will get done especially with BYOJ already developed.

For those who don't know BYOJ is an asset. Not for making a journey but for making clip compilations. For example: you could make a seated cowgirls clip compilation of your favorite girls. Which scenes can you use? All of them from SLR (15k+ scenes). And this is better because what is a playlist? It's a folder containing links to many scenes - the whole scene. Whereas BYOJ is a video. It is a video of many clips. Your favorite clips that have been compiled by you. And you can make the clips play in any order. Each clip can be as long or short as you like. You can add more than one clip from any scene. It can be any length. It can be one second or it can be 60 minutes. And you can add it more than once so that it would be like having an A-B loop. So the guy above wanted to be able to move around scenes within his playlist. In Byoj he could do that.
And of course, BYOj lets you "create a journey" with a menu that you created giving options for yourself to navigate the video and jump around. This is helpful journeys and just for navigation of anything that you create. I believe SLR should support this program and promote it. We should be able to share our creations and trade/copy them. I have already created some good ones and I get the urge to post them somewhere all the time to see if others would like them. But that option doesn't exist. Mkramer1974 Niteflyte

There are certain moments or segments of particular videos that just plain rock you and in many videos its multiple segments or moments. To be able to more easily capture/save and be able to replay those moments would be an absolute huge game changer for attaining the highest level of immersion and excitement with each session we have on the site.

Please prioritize this one at the top of the list. And then an automatically generated playlist containing all our looped/programmed videos. That would make access super easy and quick to recapture all the best moments.

The problem with BYOJ is that the transition between clips is too slow and it breaks immersion, especially when the clips are on the shorter side. I've noticed that they don't retain the same viewing perspective either, so when going from one clip to the next, the viewing angle changes on you.

A-B loop is much faster (understandable since it's within the same file). But the problem with A-B loop is that once you tag it, you can't watch any other part of the video unless you clear the loop (that took time to setup in the first place).

So no perfect solution for the various needs currently.

I've been waiting on the custom time tag feature, but that is still not yet available.
