SLR Originals reset plan - Nov '23

vrguy69 Your argument is that SLR has no viable competition: Obviously false
it doesn't SLR is the best.
vrguy69 it's objectively not pretext if I'm responding LITERALLY to a thread about SLR's future plans and how customers might react. Listen carefully so you understand: THAT is the pretext!
You might work with data, but your grasp of linguistics and logic are not your strong suit. Is getting dogpiled all the time your kink or what? Just change your tone and we'd all be better off.
When some of you change your rude unconstructive tone towards SLR, then maybe I will change mine. A small minority of you enjoy threatening to leave (and yet don't), pushing other studios to leave, demanding that SLR do what you want whilst ignoring the wants of other customers etc. You operate as a toxic group and then single me out and call me a bully etc. It's pathetic lol.
However for the most part, I interact nicely with the majority of people on the forum and enjoy their contributions. I even like some of you even though some of you don't like me much it seems haha

g2kbuffetboy yeah you are correct, for instance Nash for sure benefitted by the hype around Layla Jenner which increased the likes in some of his scenes, but I'm pretty confident he is averaging around the 2.5k mark in terms of likes. I would have to check the data here though. It would be interesting to see how this compares to his VRSPy scenes. This is why I chose just the landing page and I think this could be an important metric if it was analysed monthly. I like your analysis though as well.
@doublevr if I could have access to the API please, I will start a thread on some SLR analytics for people to discuss.
My main point was that for Nash to improve, he would need to motivate an additional 725 people to hit the like button to get to Simsense levels and I think a major factor here is that Simsense get to shoot some nice girls. For instance Simsense shot Pink Lily Lou and did well on PT, whilst Nash wasn't sure. There were even people telling him on his thread to not shoot her even though it edged out that more people requested a new scene with her when polled. He never shot her but Simsense did and I like Simsense for that.
theHobbit Wtf is a Simense?
Hairsational simsense, sorry I type really fast
theHobbit Totally believable when you repeatedly get the name wrong
Hairsational you nasty trolling

You can't convince me this guy doesn't work for SLR lol. "unconstructive tone" Good grief.
You don't even know what tone is and are literally the LAST person to lecture anyone about it. Saying customers might leave has nothing to do with tone. You show your ass more than the actual performers lol.

All I wanna see, are the same kind of awesome SLRO scenes you were filming 2-3yrs ago! I don't understand how the quality has dropped off so much! I still rewatch a lot of your scenes from a few years ago - the most recent being Pleasure Tune Up with Jessie Saint , and it's amazing how much better these scenes look compared to the recent scenes. The image quality, lighting and technical aspects are all pretty much perfect, but it's the intense up close positions that really shine here! The up close seated cg, reverse seated cg, standing doggie, and close up mish are just amazing! They add a real intensity that really adds to the immersion of the scene...and the distance and angles are all spot on! I've noticed with a lot of recent scenes, that these up close positions are used less frequently, and when they are used, they're often too close or too far away! I get that you use different directors, but this was a Nash directed scene, and even his scenes aren't up to his old standards for some reason! These SLRO scenes were the reason I signed up in the first place (at that time you were probably filming the best VR out there) but lately there's just something missing, that hardly any of them interest me.
If anything comes out of this "reset", then I just hope it's a return to this kind of quality VR that's been missing lately.
tallbloke35 I actually think that they don't really know what quality VR is. Why would they produce it and then move away from it if they did? I've come to the conclusion that they kind of just "innovated" themselves into quality for a while, and then "innovated" themselves right back out of it without realizing what they had or what they were doing.

Basically, we want SLR to be like VRSpy.
VRSpy is more or less like the SLR of old, glorious almost 2 hour long scenes with breathtaking girls, great production values, great lighting, good camera action, amazing performances, great direction and LOTS of intimacy. Simply VR porn at its best.
One should ask why this isn't the norm on SLR anymore. Well, i's possible if you simply don't interfere with the people actually creating the content. Don't tell your creators that they had to use X tech and shoot Y content. Why telling Nash that he should film AR content if he could do content like the stuff on VRSpy instead? That's completely bananas. It's like telling Peter Jackson that he had to shoot a college comedy with a runtime of 90 mins instead of the 12 hours long LOTR saga we all love...

@justsomedude101 @doublevr does anyone know how is the casting guy for vrspy ?, I mean his BGG pairing is awesome. The latest one consists of "Hazel Moore, Melanie Marie" and even upcoming is good too ,"

tallbloke35 doing my best man.
No one knows what's the deal, including Mr. Nash himself.
We did significant change in the company lately with some cool folks joining the team. Putting everyone together to get us the sweetest moments on film
It's great you guys are binging it up helping to make sense of it
People change over time, but the brand has to stand to the best of it. I'm getting a fresh breath into it and it starts working well. More news to follow in coming weeks
petermc You hate the camera position of the director?
Singaporenewr he hates John Strong cuz he is too short and can't shoot doggie style properly.
Petermc is all about doggy style vs standing doggy. No proper doggy style like he loves = bad scenes, which are 99% of Nash scenes, thus he doesn't want Nash to shoot scenes.
I can understand him though, I hate it when they don't shoot a position I love!
VRSpy's videos always looks so yellow for some reason. The quality and lighting are definitely nowhere close to SLR originals imo. Its weird because the melody marks + blake blossom vid looks very sharp when I watch it on SLR, but looks pretty bad when i watch it on VRSpy
