Looks epic even in non VR (segmented, with each segment including lengthy story buildup, anticipation and character building), but is more difficult because as others mentioend JAV actresses know how to act (they are so good at they adopt their own personality that carries on over each segment). It will be hard to assemble a group of talent who would pass off as sissters who can act good, but it would for sure be a gamechanger if Western VR studios pull an FFFFFFM (or at least FFFM) like this off. The closest thing to this is Modern Relationship (FFM) by SLRO and Short Story Long (FM) by VRPlayful, as well as the Dezyred productions.

                  And I think set design is so important in helping build an interesting narrative. I want things taken out of the bedroom and house more. Porn is a fantasy, and more unrealistic experiences that you wouldn't be able to experience IRL can be very interesting. Even just more settings like Mile High Club, with the moving vehicle and plane really changes things up a lot.

                  Also, fucking not just at work, but during work is interesting. Like the weather forecast videos in JAV, or fucking behind the counter at a convenience store while people shop in the background. Using extras in the background of any scene can create interesting scenes and more immersion. E.g PPPE-022, RCTD-332

                  Porn in general is unrealistic, but JAV isn't afraid of pushing things further, creating scenarios and plots that are so far from reality, sometimes subverting expectations.

                      hypertsunaz Agreed! Finding unique sets is harder than you might expect for vrporn, but also one of the things that helps the most with storytelling. Only so many scenarios can play out in a living room or bedroom

                      I'd also love to see a scene set in a convenience store, or a coffee shop, or an elevator... Hopefully we'll be able to find some cool settings to bring some variety to SLR originals :)

                        I can't tell what the exact stories are in JAV because I don't speak Japanese, but as a JAV fan, I think I can tell the themes.

                        My favorite theme is when the guy is put into a circumstance where he is used by a group of young and apparently inexperienced women to sexually experiment. I think the language barrier helps -- I don't know what they are saying, but I can imagine that they are saying things like, "Oh, so this is a penis? If you stroke it, it gets hard? Let me try that." And then they seemed surprised when it happens.

                        For me, I don't think this could be effective for anything other than JAV. I wouldn't believe that a western young woman could be so naive. And I know that Japanese women probably aren't that naive either, but for some reason, probably the language barrier combined with how young many of them look, enables me to pretend that they are.

                                        argyle43 I can get past it, but after seeing uncensored it’s really disappointing, sometimes with VR content it can break the immersion watching a head bob and down on a bunch of pixels. Jav content is still my favourite, but the censorship in Japan will always be comical to me, just seems pointless in this day and age

                                          MatchaSLR I don't think it's the language personally. Imo it's mostly the overacting and tired old lines from western porn. Also, most JAV actresses seem comfortable and more genuinee. That's probably a large part of the acting or they shoot differently who knows.
                                          As for delivering the actual lines of script, that's a little harder to judge as a non native sure.
