Any updates on a sorting playlist option?

Hi, I have been subscribed to SLR for the past 2 years now I think and the development of the website is going in the right direction so great job on that but one of the first thing that I found missing when I first subscribed (and it is still missing) is a way to organize our playlists, a drag and drop option, and I see in the Forum that I am not the only one - is the development team working on that feature? to be able to organize our playlists the way we want would be great. Thank you.

The way the playlists are organized now is by date of creation - the first playlists created are at the bottom of the list and the recent ones placed at the top but we should be able to place them in whatever order we would prefer, same with the videos inside the playlists, a drag and drop feature would be the best for moving playlists and videos. Thank you.

just a question, do you use the website for creating playlists and then watching in app, or do you just use the app?

Glad to see people are wanting the same thing as me. As an end user, I want a more robust storage platform online and a better player with more options. I get the feeling all the time that the industry wants to move away from downloads and replace it with streaming. But we resist because the online platform is bare bones. I believe the more it is developed, the less we will need to download and the more we will be happy to stay online streaming and organizing our files. For those who don't know BYOJ is an asset. Not for making a journey but for making clip compilations. For example: you could make a seated cowgirls clip compilation of your favorite girls. Which scenes can you use? All of them from SLR (15k+ scenes). And this is better than a playlist because instead of a folder containing links to the whole scene of each girl, it is a video you created of your favorite seated cowgirl clips and they will play sequentially or in any order of your choosing. Each clip can be as long or short as you like. You can add more than one clip from any scene. It can be any length. It can be one second or it can be 60 minutes. And you can add it more than once so that it would be like having an A-B loop. And of course you can create a journey with a menu that you created giving options for yourself to navigate the video and jump around. This is helpful too. I believe SLR should support this program and promote it. We should be able to share our creations and trade/copy them. I have already created some good ones and I get the urge to post them somewhere all the time to see if others would like them. But that option doesn't exist.

GREGORIO28 You could possibly post the raw JSON editor format version in forum messages. Maybe someone should make a thread for them.

GREGORIO28 When you are in the BYOJ editor and editing a "video", click on "Raw JSON editor", instead of the Visual editor. Then go in and copy the entire file from { to }. Then paste that into a post here. I assume someone else should be able to rebuild your script quick by simply pasting that JSON data into a new BYOJ or their own. Send me something good and I can try.

Andrew_SLR I dont know for everyone but on my side, I do both, from the website / laptop and from the in-app / meta quest - personally I would say that its usually easier, more convenient and faster to create and organize a playlist from the website / laptop but at the end of the day the technology is VR so I will also create, reorganize those playlists in-app too with the meta quest - probably not the most helpful answer lol but that's just my opinion.

Andrew_SLR I do both. but anything complex like setting a nested playlist layout, I would probably do on the website.

Yes, please add an option to change the order of our playlists! I too asked about this years ago. No need to make any crazy big changes or improvements all at once, but it would be hugely appreciated to see simple improvements like this added at least every few months or so.

Maybe start a poll feature on the forum or the site itself for members to vote on which development features should get priority?
