OK finally able to get back on the headset. did an uninstall of DEOVR app.....reinstalled it
same thing...still showing up in the setup graphic as META QUEST PRO
AND the options on the controller do NOT list anything regarding PITCH
the joystick is SET to zoom...and it NEEDS to be set to pitch
can't believe i am the only DUDE that has this issue?
spanker What's so hard? You don't even need pitch control, just hold both triggers on right controller and reposition the video as needed
@"spanker"#p61859 Hold trigger on right controller (index finger) + palm grip trigger on right controller (middle finger).. assuming you are not a lefty
so i SEE....you press the two triggers and move your head or controller up and down
did it once in with daylight...will try it in the DARK
it was jerky on my eyes and left my controls in crazy places...but i did get me looking higher and lower with pitch control. i have to get the control board back in line. my other WAY of taking the 5-10seconds might be less of a problem. made me nauseous btw moving the picture around like that.
anyone else with a pitch control problem on quest 3?

Maybe look for "tilt" pitch used be called tilt
started right-handed...but after a month or two switched hands and never looked back. now, unfortunately, my hand is experiencing some major pains if do it too much.
when I say pain? I'm talking can't touch my dog's puffy hair without screaming like a little girl.
handy might be in my near future does that thing make noise? will my family be saying dad's doing that thing again?
so NO tilt options in there either. i did do a screenshot
now can't get it headset recognized on my computer to move image over
after that, wasn't sure how to get image on this thread to show you

fleshlight ain't gonna work...need something that is vigorish and automatic....maybe have to up the ante...put a few on retainer for 150 per session

BTW...i was ABLE to finally see the PITCH in options....even change it with green check mark. the header of that column...PLAYER? where the X's are? i clicked on it...it was not showing anywhere that it was even clickable, but it opened up all the other options of control.
so changed it to pitch. BUT can't seem to exit out of the system screen without pulling the trigger to hit the box in upper right corner...when i do that? it adds the trigger to the joystick for pitch.
so will keep playing with it
found 2d jav site watching on the headset...so giving me lots of patience
kinda frigging crazy that the hundreds of NEW q3 purchases on this board has not experienced this

they have a thread on it...but no solutions. say deovr team might be trying to fix it. BE GREAT if the would mention it here like they have on the other fixes they have PEGGED on top of the message boards
so FOUND where to possibly change it in the setup, but can't EXIT without hitting the trigger and adding that to the action to the pitch control
be great if support could help in that regard. it's barely watchable. That one method mentioned above got me, and kept me, nauseous for quite a while afterward...let alone needing to reset the video control panel locations on the video watching.

at LEAST give us some workable solutions before the update comes
it's unwatchable now...or no enjoyable. almost thought to fire up the quest 1 again. BUT found a great jav 2d site that is taking care of business when need be
i HAVE found the support page...the controller options. i even found the pitch button. BUT i can't click the X in the top right corner to exit the page....once i hit the trigger button to hit the X? it ADDS to the things NEEDED to do to change the pitch (joy stick plus the trigger).....it's a fucking shit show btw.
so pretty close to getting the q1 going if i want to see this site...it was good enough for long time. membership is coming due at end of december....might have me thinking twice if not fixed by then

some on here have figured a workaround by going into the system admin...finding the different controls
i found that page and everything...just CAN'T exit out of the system admin page without adding an action to the joystick for pitch
the 10th is a month of ZERO use to me and that is fine btw....just trying to see if there is a quick fix BEFORE the update
gonna hate going two months of zero usefulness with the new headset on the site...for something so basic
boggles the mind a little bit that there is no one else on THIS site with the PITCH issue. woulda thought there was a 100 plus headsets bought at mininum
