  • Quest 3 haptics connect problem

I'm unable to get haptic connect to activate via DeoVR on a Quest 3. Had same issue with Quest 2. Any help appreciated.

I click the toggle in settings, it goes blue (but is just list as Haptics Connect, there is no SLR Interactive on the toggle as I've seen in some setup guides), but going back to the home screen shows Haptic Connect as red/disconnected, and in fact scripts don't work. What am I missing to connected a Lovense device? I have a script acct.

Hey desklamp3, try following these exact steps below as those proved to resolve the issue that you are currently facing:

    • Disable the haptics toggle in DeoVR.
    • Log out of your SLR account in DeoVR and close the app.
    • Close the Haptics Connect app.
    • Go to your phone app settings and delete the Haptics Connect app cache.
    • Disconnect your toy from any other haptic app you might have used recently.
    • Unpair the toy from your phone, turn off the toy, and disable Bluetooth on your phone.
    • Enable Bluetooth on your phone again, pair your toy with your phone, and turn the toy off again.
    • Run the Haptics Connect app, open a browser on your phone, go to the SLR website, and log in.
    • If you are still logged in to SLR with your browser log out, and log in again.
    • Go to your SLR profile page and click the connect to Haptics button.
    • Turn on the toy and make sure your toy is found and connected in the Haptics Connect app.
    • Launch DeoVR after your toy is successfully connected to the Haptics Connect app.
    • Log back in to your SLR account with DeoVR, and re-enable haptics in DeoVR.

Please note that it's important to follow the instructions in the correct order to ensure a successful connection.

Also worth mentioning is that the future version of the DeoVR app is not going to require a HapticsConnect app, but there is no exact date when this will be available, hopefully soon!

Let us know if the above resolved the issue!

Worked, thx. Should it 'just work' next time around, or does this need to be the routine?

desklamp3 Great, thanks for letting us know! It should work with the new app version as the idea is to completely remove the requirement of the HapticsConnect app.
