Hey guys, the team has discovered that when installing a DeoVR app on Meta Quest 3 headsets it doesn't ask for permission to access the storage which results in not being able to access local files through the app. For now, in order to resolve this issue, you will need to change the permissions manually. In order to achieve this, simply follow these steps: Navigate to Settings From there, select the Apps section Once you get there, you can either click on Permissions and under Storage, enable DeoVR app or find the DeoVR app in the list of installed apps, click on it, and enable the Storage option Keep in mind that the developer team will be working on resolving this in future app iterations so this won't be required to perform every time you perform a fresh install.

Hey @peebody , can you try to put the interactive folder inside the "Android" folder rather than the "Root" of the Quest 3?

Quest 3 cannot stream through AirLink the recent films from VRAllure, VRHush, or FuckPassVR. This problem applies to the original files, whether they be downloaded from SLR or the studio's sites.

Original File --> AirLink --> DeoVR --> Black Screen

[deleted] by "Airlink" you mean playing on the PC? if there is an issue you can go to options for the video while it's playing and enable the directx/directshow mode which will resolve problems with some videos in their original (not transcoded for SLR) formats (install LAV Filters and tweak settings for that if it doesn't work). However, the default mode should be more performant - I would only use the directshow mode as a fallback for when it oddly renders or has massive stutters or frame drops.

edit: also, if you haven't already tried it, Virtual Desktop has had more consistent performance for me on Q3 than Airlink (some tweaking there also to get the best image)

I got it to work, its just like the quest 2, create "Interactive folder in the root folder, but go in deovr and give deovr access to your quest 3 files or w/e. To give access, go to your local files in deovr, check the upper right corner, there should be some sort of icon, click that and give it access.
