I've got a Quest 1 and I'm attempting for the first time to connect things to my Handy, and so far no luck. 🙁

I can connect to the handy from the website and app, but when I open the DeoVR app on my Quest:

  • It initially connects
  • Then it immediately disconnects.

Is there a place where I can find more detailed logs about what's happening so I can know how to solve the problem?

ProducerV I have the same issue with first connect. The Handy sets itself back to manual mode, I simply then have to switch it back to WiFi mode. Then the second connection works.
I'm talking about the Handy device itself, the WiFi button.

Not sure it's the same as you have, but worth to check if the led on the Handy is green again instead of purple.

      Rakly3 Unfortunately no go.

It will try and connect, then disconnect; but the Handy is still in wifi mode. And if I go to another site I can easily connect.

I can even go to the site through the Quest browser and it will work; seems there's something with the Deo player app or something else.

        5 days later

ProducerV Can you go to your Quest storage settings and remove the cached data for SLR? Then launch DeoVR again, log in to your account and try again.

If that didn't work ,try again, but after removing the cached data, uninstall the app, shut down the headset (not restart), then turn it on again, install the DeoVR app back and check.

        Thanks!

I have the same problem and only on Quest 3. Works fine on Quest 2.
Also working with the Pigasus VR media player on Quest 3, so it's only a problem with DeoVR.

I have tried uninsalling the app, deleting the cache, turned off the Q3, installed again and same problem.

It connects and then disconnects. The Handy stays in wifi mode.

        Correction..

On the Quest 2 it is working in the SLR app running ver. 13.11.1.
But it is not working in the DeoVR app running ver. 13.12.1.3
