No able to update

When i try to update cardboard for android i get an error .

"attempt to read from field 'java.lang.stringandorid.content.pm.packageinfo.packageName' on null object referance.

ds2sd Which phone, and what Android version are you using? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet?

I have the same issue since a while. If I'm trying to open the downloaded file SLRCardboard_engine.apk directly, Android is giving me a parsing error.

Android 6.0.1 on a Blackberry Priv.

@ds2sd you can run the app without updating by launching it from the Google Cardboard app.

Yes, just today. I saw that the update didn't have the same size as before, but I still get the same error.

We are working to fix the issue. In meantime get DeoVR from OculusHome and enter sexlikereal.com into built-in browser

Mee too! On 2 smartphones for few last days. Retry just now again. And the problem remain.
