metichemsi Well, than you're in for a real treat. Some of the good 8k scenes are much more convincing and realistic in a good high resolution headset (especially if you download and use a good player with some sharpening. I also have an Index to compare and used to have a pico so I know difference well). If you're anything like me that's more than worth it alone.
Imo, the main issue so far with new headsets, if you stack them up against the 8kx, has always been the huge sacrife in FOV you had to make for some comfort and a better user experience. However, we finally seem to be getting some alternatives like the somnium vr 1 that have better lenses, better resolution, pass-through and a better user experience without sacrifing that FOV too much.
I find the quest 3 interesting as well as it has a major convinience factor, good lenses and likely good passthrough. I'm sure the FOV is going to be terrible but as a second headset it's still very interesting.
