About the debate for the so called "scene breaker": there are some of those for some people. But they are the best scenes for others. I saw the "smoke show" trailer and would not really want to watch this scene because of Samantha Mack, even though Keira Kova is really damn hot in it. But there are many people that really like Samantha Mack so it would be ridiculous to avoid this scene as a company.
As a customer? Sure. But a company should always keep variaty in taste in mind.

                I never said it was not okay. I even said it's good to spread the love of variety of scenes (I know there are BBGG fans out there and props for going against the norm and doing something different). But I'm saying this was teased out in so many places. SLR Instagram, 4 posts on reddit, BTS, on this forum, etc. But there was no mention of it being a BBGG until now. And based off the screenshot you put, the 2nd guy is not to the side of the frame, but he's directly in front, facing the viewer. So it's a pretty big distinction, imo.
