Philip Don't get me wrong, it LOOKS cheap and that's all that matter for me as a customer. Of course it can be cheaper for you guys to just rent a house or flat and shoot there without any bigger changes but if you want to go for a bit more "exotic" set it should looks decent and not like you shot in a cheap fucking warehouse with some cheap looking props, just like the amateur production of my neighbour next door...
Putting up a few drywalls with blankets before or even plastic bags and maybe adding a few neon lights don't make a good looking or believable set. It makes a shitty and dirt cheap looking setting that just screams "FAKE" and IN MY HONEST OPINION that drags the quality of your whole production down. I'd rather want SLR to look like Vixen than like girlsgowild...
