                I think SLR Original has been working with other studios on the SLR network not to get the same model too many times.
                The only drive to bring a model back is to do a new type of contents.
                That's why I have been suggesting IR haha. I know there are tones of unconditional fans of IR online and it is one of the most viewed category. Personally, I am extremely curious about that in VR because it's so rare. I don't care in 2D personally.

                Hopefully, it is great reason to bring back Ashley in SLR network 😃

                    Philip Bumping releases from 8 to 10 in Feb

                    Super excited about this one. Despite being subbed to pretty much every studio, SLR Originals already made up probably 60% of my favorite scenes from 2021, so excited to have even more great scenes released on a monthly basis.

                    As far as my personal favorites (in no particular order):

                    Ripped Tights 3 - even though I'm not typically into the T&A model type, this was an absolute banger of a scene that may have single-handedly swayed me into enjoying T&A scenes more.

                    Sleepy Roommates - brought Anny back and paired here with the equally beautiful Lily, 10/10 pairing for me.

                    Make Plays, Not Grades - Kylie gave us either one of the most genuine performances I've ever seen in VR, or otherwise one of the best acted performances. Either way it was truly fantastic.

                    Pleasure Trip - I don't think I really need to explain why this one is on the list...

                    Raw Taboo: In Momma's Bed - first b/g scene with Freya, and hopefully just the first of many to come. Freya was a natural in VR considering it was her first hardcore scene, and was super into the sex itself, making for a great release.

                    Welcome Party with a Bang - from all the studios I sub to, this was the definitive surprise scene of the year for me. Just a knockout scene that came out of nowhere, and a fantastic pairing (even if it was last-minute and unplanned).

                    And frankly there was another dozen+ scenes I could have mentioned, but I digress.

                    You guys had a hell of a year in 2021, very much looking forward to what 2022 brings. So thank you for all your hard work, and all the great content you deliver SLR! And especially you @Philip, fantastic job all around imho.

                        I honestly think it's a bit unfair to give awards to scenes only based on the most likes given the fact that some scenes released early this year had several months to gather their likes while other scenes that were literally just released yesterday couldn't gather almost any at all in the short period of time... 🤔

                        Anyway, here are my personal favorite SLRO releases in 2021:

                        🥇 goes to Sleepy roommates - Anny Aurora & Lily Larimar

                        I simply love Anny Aurora. She's adorable in every imaginable way. Great body, great character. What a perfect woman. The combination with Lily Larimar is wonderful. Just look at these girls with their flawless bodies. Isn't that paradise? 🥰

                        🥈 goes to Ripped Tights 2 - Jessie Saint & Kiara Cole

                        One of my dream pairings, requested by me, delivered upon by SLR. Outstanding performances, real chemistry, great technical execution, a fabulous creampie with cleanup and ripped tights. Full package pretty much, don't ya think? 🍾

                        🥉 goes to Busted! - Lily Lou

                        Most energetic and raw sex experience all year with an outstanding performer. I think I don't exaggerate when I say that Lily Lou is probably THE best newcomer in 2021, great addition to the industry. She will go through the roof in 2022. ⬆️

                        But seriously, SLR shot a lot of really amazing scenes this year. A huge portion of my personal favorite VR scenes this year are SLR Originals despite me being subscribed to pretty much every major VR porn network (SLR, POVR, VRB, BVR, CVR, VT, VRP, DRVR, 18VR,...) You guys really did a marvelous job this year and I really have to mention a few more scenes that I really enjoyed (and there is a very high chance that I also enjoyed the ones not on my list since there are just too many good scenes to mention them all. There was hardly any scene this year that I didn't enjoy at all...):

                        One more scene requires a special shout-out (@Philip already mentioned it):

                        Grand Obsession with Alina Lopez & Elena Koshka was actually released on Dec 30th 2020, so it's technically not applicable for the 2021 awards but if it was it'd be my clear and undisputed no 1. I mean Alina and Elena together, come on, that's epicness level 1.000.000... 🏆️🥰🤯

                        Oh man, now that I've looked all these scenes up , I really need to rewatch all these glorious scenes again, my dick very much urges me to do so, lol... 🤣😄

                        What an amazing year for VR porn and what an evolution for SLRO. I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us in 2022. With the harem series, more niches to be explored and more scenes in general (yay!) I can only imagine that we're in for one hell of fucking glorious ride. Thanks for everything so far, SLR.                             Personally, I think this metric is particularly skewed. It doesn't give the whole "picture". Likes are often based on castings alone, but not necessarily how amazing of a scene is. For example, I think both Alex/Evan and VRFanservice shot way better scenes than the number 1 and 2 picks mentioned (Tru Kait BG, and ACC/Jamie BGG). That's not doing their hard work justice! But I suppose that's what this forum is here for =)

                            For Alex/Evan, I gotta say they perfected the BGGs.

                            1. One in particular that really stood out to me when I saw it was the Ripped TIghts 2 scene with Kiara/Jessie. The way the sun light came into the room was just incredible.

                            2. The Uma/Kenna setting and lighting were also equally as beautiful. Two of the classiest scenes in VR period. So well done.

                            3. There really are too many to mention from the Alex/Evan crew. Both Blake BGGs were phenomenal (with Melody and Laney) but I guess if I were to give the edge to one it would be the Blake/Melody combo, just because I don't even like cosplay, but the cosplay here was done so well, that it was still hot.

                            Overall though, I have to say Alex/Evan have become the true staple of VR (in my opinion of course). Their pairings are the best there is. There scenarios, production values (holy smokes Dick Runner, and the Witcher last year), are bar none. They have also brought the close-up arms-up missionary the new "hot thing" for VR scenes to have. And lately they have been adding even more kinky things like armpit licking and so forth, which I'm now seeing on other sites! So bravo to this team. They are the cream of the crop!

                            For VRFanservice, I actually like their scenes where they go all out with experimentation. So, I thought there 2 best scenes were actually ones that were not SLROriginals, but on their VFS channel:

                            1. Haley Spades just looked so stellar in this "dark" and sultry environment. I really enjoyed how this one turned out. It was unique.

                            2. Jewelz Blue & Coco had some tech/camera issues but I think it was really unique and sexy.

                            Honorable mention to non Alex/Evan and VRFanservice, was the Ariana/Agatha series! That was well done and great casting!!

                                    I adore this scene.. The rig work was near perfection... Charly and Aubree were the perfect pairing and the scene itself was immersive af.. To me immersion is just as important as the casting and direction as this is what makes VR an experience and not just another fap.. Something SLRO has done an amazing job at this year and separates you from almost all other studios

                                    Best series we have going in the adult VR industry imo.. To have Tru Kait debut along with this series was one of the best things to happen this year.. Again immersion and the feeling of actually being "present" is what makes VR porn unbeatable when compared to all other forms of adult media.. Tru Kait and the direction of this scene made me feel like I was actually spending the morning with this goddess of a girlfriend.. Please more of this series in 2022

                                    Casting is the #1 most important thing in VR.. A good cast can outweigh most faults with any scene.. Well to have 2 of the best VR performers in one scene along with technical and directorial perfection? Chef's kiss.. Just an amazing scene.. I think what's cool about VR is that you can kinda weed out quickly who's good at it, who actually enjoy the interactivity of VR, and who's not.. VR just hits different.. VR actresses like Melody and Blake are pros at VR and honestly should teach some kind of VR performing class lol In VR you actually have to be interactive with the rig.. Earplay, eye contact, knowing the space between herself and the rig, and actually treating the rig like she would treat the "watcher" in real time..

                                    I think that's why we get so many repeat casting requests because some girls just have "it" and know how to shoot VR and how to play to the camera where others seem lost when they're doing VR and not 2D.. I can't point out enough how important casting actresses with a knack for VR truly is.. Well you definitely can't find many better than Melody and Blake..

It's been amazing to see the jump the adult VR world has taken here and abroad this year. I hope 2022 will be even better.

                                    But you know what the most important and best thing SLR did this entire year better than anybody..?

                                    I can't highlight how important that is.. Everything else is meaningless and falls apart compared to it.. I don't even think all these amazing scenes this year would have been made without both SLR and the VR community working together on ideas and the mutual communication we have here.. I know not all requests can be fulfilled due to business and internal reasons.. But there is a reason we all come here and put in requests.. Because these requests will actually be looked into and not just be ignored.. I mean fuck look at @n4meless8 @LordCrash @g2kbuffetboy @justsomedude101 requests over the last year.. They're all stellar and shouldn't just be told eh... We'll do what WE want to do like alot of other VR studios at the moment..

                                      I agree with dexter313 that a huge reason for you setting and moving the bar in VR content creation is from seeking out and listening to feedback from the community.
