  • What do you value the most with your SLR Premium subscription?

In short, I value the scene quality and the scenes that include my favorites performers.

I enjoy the forums that have some open and constructive discussion, but that is secondary to the scenes themselves.

My tastes:

  • I prefer downloading over streaming via the app.
  • I always download the highest quality non-original version.
  • I like that SLR often has an earlier release of many shared studios over a competitor like POVR, but I have also found that POVR’s downloaded file birates can be better. Since I want the best quality for my favorite scenes, I will often subscribe and replace these scenes when they are released later on POVR.
  • I prefer BG over a large BGGG+ scene. BGG is usually only a repeat watch if I like both performers equally. Large harem scenes are not for me, as I will be trying to peek at the left back corner to my favorite performer while especially trying to ignore the 2 girls in the foreground chatting at me.
  • I have no interest in scripts or passthrough scenes.

kurtis316 Oh you're right lol. My first prem SLR subscription was in 2018. I changed over to annual in 2020, then lifetime in 2021. So you got me beat =)

Anyways, my point is, the Wankz forum has been bustling for several more years than SLR's forum, and especially when VR was very young, a lot of the early adopters had a lot more feedback to share with producers and fellow consumers. This is back when VR was still trying to figure things out. I mean, seeing how you, yourself have been around for a long time, I'm sure you know how different the Wankz forum is. Wankz is like the bar you hang out with your VR buddies. SLR is more like tech and VR meetups for users and producers haha.

I suppose you're trying to throw shade at me for something here? But I've had a very on/off history with SLR, especially in the beginning, and I have no idea when they started using my name on the signup page. What made me an SLR fan was actually when Nash came on board. The Witcher scene (2020), then the Naughty Dorm party scenes made me a believer that SLR would be a major player in the VR content game. Their original "Netflix" approach was never something I was interested in because I had always subbed to sites directly. I also have always been a downloader, not a streamer, so the app had little to do with my enjoyment. In the early days I used Skybox and Pigasus. I started using the SLR App / Deo when scripting became a thing, but once I became a PC user, I left for Heresphere.

        proslr The JAV. It's not easy to legitimately access most of it in the West outside of SLR. I really appreciate a lot of what JAV content creators have made and like to see them get paid for it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy and appreciate a lot of the Western content as well, but it's just not nearly as difficult to access as the JAV is.

        As for the censorship in JAV, I don't like it any more than anybody else. But the countless gorgeous exotic JAV women, incredible intimacy, cam angles, lighting, eye contact, more tittyfucking, creampies, and CIM finishes(even if many of them are fake, the occasional real CIMs and even some of the fakes can still be really hot), etc more than make up for the censorship IMO.

        Would be awesome to see some sort of optional automated translation subtitles feature integrated into the JAV. Many of the videos are still insanely hot even being unable to understand 95% of what the girls are saying, but could definitely help make them even hotter with the option to read the sexy things they're saying.

          not much honestly. i'm dissapointed alot more than im happy with the content. i do like the block studios feature , cuz you guys have added so many poor quality/content studios that i literally have over 100 studios blocked now. The comment sections are designed make people argue and they breed more negativity than positivity. Cant dislike videos but you can downvote comments lol . im glad i dont see slr staff in the comments trash talking paying users much anymore cuz that was extremely unprofessional. i love slr video quality but the inconsistant directing puts a damper on that. if i didnt pay yearly to get the 15 per month fee id never subscribe for the price you guys charge monthly. there are sites with the same amount of videos and studios that are way cheaper and DONT limit the amount of videos you can download in a set time period. i liked when you had the ar passthrough stuff in its own studio. that qwelled arguments from people with out ar heasets but simsense doesnt get that so now theyre back with the slr vr videos smh. im on the fence about whether or not i should resub for another year in november. im not trying to offend anyone with this feedback. just being 100 percent honest

          i DO think the listing of all the girls individually has KILLED this forum. put them and keep them on a TAB...maybe keep them alpha'd along with thread post activity to keep them near the top....that would also make it so people won't start duplicate posting of same girl.

              Yes, it diluted out all the interesting and important threads: SLRO Rally, BTS, Scenario suggestions, and a general Feedback thread. Barely any activity in those threads

                The best feature without a doubt is the Deo VR timeline with thumbnails and tags.
                I can start a scene and scan though it and get instant access to all the best bits I’m personally interested in. I can immediately jump to Cowgirl or Mish or whatever I want. It’s freakin’ awesome 🙂👍

                I sub to POVR and Badoink as well, but all the downloaded content loses this feature and it kills it for me. 90% of my viewing is through SLR for this feature.

                (Cue - somebody to tell me Heresphere does this but if it does I haven’t found out!)

                spanker why then has it not killed the Wankz/POVR forum when they include a separate thread for every scene on the site? That’s way more threads diluting their forum than a few model threads where people can discuss multiple scenes for the same model in one thread. The popular threads still rise up to the top there. They should do the same here if, like you say, no one visits the model threads.

                  personally since all those individual names started flooding the all discussions board...i didn't log in as much. finding things i was looking for became too much a hassle

                  i have been apart of a FEW forums for 15plus years...pay money for the privilege. they also go thru same type of issues

                    spanker I do get what you’re saying and I did suggest when this first started that there should be a separate section for model threads like Legalporno do.

                    I think there should be a general porn discussion section where we can discuss the content. A separate section for models where each model has their own thread. Plus a separate section for any support related questions. Maybe even another section for non-porn discussions where people can talk about gaming, sports, movies etc. They just seem to lump everything together here.

                    For Wankz though (who also lump everything together) there are popular threads that just always rise to the top as people post in them constantly. They don’t appear to have those super popular threads here so that’s probably why it feels like the model threads are taking over the forum.

                      there are just TOO many girls being posted...go with your suggestion and create a TAB. i'll visit the TAB/section once a week or so...IF it's organized (alpha'd and or names stay NEAR the top as they are being talked about)

                        I think the issue is that the Flarum software does not offer customization of the 'All Discussions' view. You can either view threads only for a single tag or you can view all threads, but you cannot ignore or hide specific tags.

                            That's my understanding of it as well, and the reason why we don't have sub-forums/threads.
