  • What do you value the most with your SLR Premium subscription?

deltacloud While I have rotating subs at other VR sites, SLR is the only one I have an annual sub to. Primarily for 3 reasons:

Realcumber is the best script maker in the game and his scripts are worth the price of admission
SLR has refined passthrough to a point that I now prefer the grey room/suit passthroughs over the "mega production" setups seen in videos like "Mile High Club"
Experimentation

Let me talk about that last one just a bit because I know it's a mixed bag. SLR tries a lot of things that don't work the first time, but they keep at it. There are a lot of commons complaints that I fully agree with (awkward scale, inconsistent lighting, poor camera positioning, odd transitions, etc.), but these are complaints I share with other sites as well. Some sites might have a slight advantage on things like image quality or scale, but then they fail at giving me exciting scenarios or a wide range of models. Maybe they've nailed lighting and positioning but they only have AI generated scripts and use cookie cutter sets. What I'm guaranteed with at SLR is that every month there is going to be at least 1 or 2 videos (and scripts) that are absolutely worth it because they've done something unique. Everything else is a bonus. On other sites I'll sub for 30 days and then check back in a few months later and see if there's been a few videos that I'm really interested in. At SLR, I've never looked back at a given month and felt that the sub was a waste for that month.

I think thats a great point made of what we've been able to achieve so far here at SLR to date and continue to strive for - guaranteed quality content with experimentation that only continues to improve with the overall net goal and aim to have your membership feel worth the price of admission

I personally think the scripts we have at SLR are something that is unique and compelling that brings a level of physical realism and immersion that was only ever dreamt of in the past - and this is only the beginning!

    Still sticking around for one reason and one reason only: The closeup missionary. Besides that, it's hard to distinguish between an SLRO and Povr, or Badoink scene, for instance.

    My yearly subscription is up in two weeks, and if Jia Lissa's scenes don't feature this position, I might reconsider renewing.

      LordCrash Have you checked out some of the other studios mentioned on this thread (RealJam, VREdgin, DeepInSex)? Some of those scenes are pretty well done. The newer VRSpy scene was also impressive.
      Once in a while, I just pull up the latest video feed and just click through them. 90% of the scenes are a pass for me, but once in a while, I stumble on something good.

        LordCrash I agree to a certain extent. I've been vocal a few times in other very frustrating threads, but I still think it's great a lot of the directors, editors, etc are around to participate and sometimes even respond. I feel like whenever I give feedback to most other studios, it doesn't get across, or rather, it's a closed door and I just have to hope someone is reading/listening on the other end. (I do agree that The Wankz community will always be my home base for my VR buddies, but regarding Wankz vs SLR productions themselves, I feel like feedback goes a lot further here then there).

            g2kbuffetboy it really does even if not always communicated here. Trying to get it fixed as well

            Forum is my favorite place now for sure. And it's getting better 🔥

              Scripts - quality scripts on a regular basis and the AI script fallback getting a lot better now. The number one for me as no other site does this nearly as well.
              Content - Best selection of content imo, a lot of nice originals and also studio's like VrEdging and many others.
              Innovation - imo SLR pushes VR porn forward more than any other site. Things like passthrough, how they got scripts to the masses, introducing some non vanilla content, etc.
              Community - I think it's cool how a lot of company stuff is openly discussed here.

              Walled garden - I think SLR often tries to force people to do things their way. You almost have to stream and use deovr if you like scripts for instance. I hate walled gardens.
              Inconsistent image quality - the originals had a lot of issues in terms of image quality over the past period. Glad to see SLR move to 8k though. Image quality is a huge deal to me.

              g2kbuffetboy Agree with you there. I appreciate the fact that you can at least engage with SLR. It's better then other sites where there is no avenue for feedback at all or the feedback never gets any response.

                LordCrash I don’t get the complaint about the casting threads. Wankz/POVR literally has a new thread for every single scene on the site and you’re complaining at having a single thread for each performer and only those that fans on here have started themselves?

                    LordCrash the SLRO scenes are right near the bottom of my list of reasons for subscribing.

                    If this site was just SLRO scenes alone, like a Badoink or a VRHush, I would not be a subscriber. I’m here for the access to all of the other content and the occasional decent scene from SLRO.

                        I'm a big fan of adding AI scripts to backfill the massive library and constant stream of included studios. There's still a noticeable quality gap on the kind of videos I personally enjoy the most when AI is involved. So for example I would be disappointed if most of the future SLRO passthrough or VRedging videos started to only have AI scripts. The multi-script functionality SLR added in was a smart move. AI is a 'quick fix' and you can still have a hand crafted, superior script once it's ready. I just hope y'all continue investing in good script makers. Hopefully that's some of what our subs are helping fund 🙂

                              petermc Yeah, I understand. But I'm already subscribed to POVR for the occasional VR Hush or DeepInSex scene etc. Without the SLRO scenes I probably wouldn't be subscribed here. 😉

                                petermc Yes. Suggestion threads are just suggestions. There's nothing to talk about there beyond "I want her, too" or whatever. Scene threads are much more likely to actually feature conversations. I don't think it's ideal that every scene on POVR gets its own thread though, should be limited to POVR/WVR/MVR scenes or maybe threads should only be visible in the forum after there is an actual comment for the scene. Always room for improvement.

                                  Damn, so much really.

                                  First and foremost the innovation and drive to push forward, beyond what anybody else is even doing or seemingly considering doing. Such as passthrough to the level you have gone, your ability to have gotten such a good image out of the K2 Pro camera despite its age. I am still impressed, I owned that thing and seeing your scenes was like magic.

                                  Freaking custom background images for PT videos!

                                  The fact that you produce your own content also and at the highest level of quality in both production and casting.

                                  The fact that you dont only offer compressed versions of scenes from other studios but give us the option to also download the full file. Other sites seem to only offer a compressed version. As soon as I realized this I cancelled that other subscription.

                                  The fact that you guys are clearly nuts about VR, and tech in general. I would have never imagined in a million years that your team would come up with a way to modify the freaking canon VR lens to fix the IPD issue. That's wild and shows true passion for this thing you are doing, and dont think I have forgotten that you still have not released more info about that, I'm still waiting to learn more!!!!! 😆

                                    Edit: Too bad that it also includes the AR scenes. So I'm still required to pay money for AR porn although I'm only interested in VR porn. Bummer.

                                      These are what I value the most:

                                      1) Massive library that can be personalised
                                      SLR has such a massive library of videos from so many different studios. There's something for everyone no matter what you're into.

                                      In addition, the hide feature lets you personalise SLR's massive library so it only shows the videos you want to watch. For me, it's condensed the library down to a few thousand videos, but practically every video is something I genuinely enjoy. This is a much better experience than on other websites, where I might only like about 10%.

                                      2) Personalised Feed
                                      My feed is also customised to my tastes. The hide feature remembers everything I've blocked including actresses that I don't find attractive, the studios that don't shoot the kind of content I enjoy and fetishes that I'm not into.

                                      The result is a much more relevant feed. Most incoming videos are videos that I genuinely want to check out.

                                      3) Time Tags & Recently Released Solo Function
                                      Often, I want to skip straight to my preferred positions on videos. SLR makes it easy to do this by clearly marking the time tags. The recently released solo feature makes it even easier.

                                      On other websites, I have to guess multiple times before I find the right time stamp. Sometimes, the video might not even have the positions I'm after so I skip around the entire video pointlessly.

                                      4) Scripts
                                      Your ever-growing script library is a huge plus for me. Once I set up my handy, it was so easy to play scripted videos on SLR.

                                      5) Stream Quality
                                      The streaming experience is unmatched. On other websites, I sometimes experience so much buffering that it's simply unwatchable. It might also require a lot of navigating through menus before I'm able to stream a video.

                                      6) Models - Talent Scouting
                                      In the past, SLR was great at talent scouting. You were the first to bring incredibly beautiful talent like Agatha Vega, Eve Sweet, Kitty Cam and Katrina Reed into hardcore VR porn.

                                      It made you leaders in casting and other studios could only follow suit, after the initial excitement of their hardcore VR debuts had gone away.
