I think the biggest problem with VR porn is the lack of variety of scenes. A lot of niches that are very popular in "flat" porn are ignored. Not just ebony but lesbian, which happens to be my personal favourite, is very under-represented. It doesn't seem to occur to most VR directors that you could even have a scene where 2 girls pretend the camera isn't there.
