App 13.12 Released (AI Scripts Icon, Streaming Subs, Solo Time Tags)

Hey guys!
App version 13.12 is now available on the Quest store, Sidequest, Oculus store and Steam. Pico store release is coming in the following days.

Release notes:

New Features:

Support for streaming subtitles.
Watch-time graph on video timeline.
Skip to cumshot (or cum in mouth, facial and creampie):
- map a button on the controller to skip directly to the cumshot section of the current video.
Solo time tags:
- Only watch you favorite sections of videos. Select specific time tags and the player will skip over other parts of the video.

Improvements:

AI scripts are now shown with a different icon on video thumbnails.
Subtitles and App:
- Support for many global alphabets. (all European alphabets, all flavors of Cyrillic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Armenian, Georgian, Thai & Malayalam)

Just tried the solo time tags and they are amazing! Navigating through videos has never been smoother or more enjoyable.

I love how we can skip back and forth between the positions we want with just a press of a button. It's much easier than having to awkwardly aim with the VR controller, point and click every single time.

I have one request - Could you please make it so that the positions we select persists through any video? It currently resets if I watch a new video that doesn't contain any of the positions I selected. E.g. if I select "cowgirl" and "missionary", it will reset itself if I start watching a solo video that doesn't contain any of those positions. Then when I watch a hardcore video again, I have to set the positions again from scratch.

I am really glad you like it and thanks for giving it a spin.
Currently there is a limit how many videos it checks (could even be only one) in the suggested/playlist, the plan is to have it so it goes trough the list until it finds a video with any of the tags selected.
The first iteration is limited like this as you noticed.
If you have any other feedback, we are all ears ☺️

Sandi_SLR That's an interesting idea! That'll help people skip entire videos if there's nothing in it that they're interested in.

Could you allow us to toggle off skipping entire videos though? While I do have a preference for cowgirl and missionary in hardcore videos, I do also enjoy the occasional softcore video, especially if they have amazing casting.

Ideally, I'd like the app to save my solo time tag settings so that I don't have to keep resetting it. But have it only trigger in videos that contain those time tags, i.e. Cowgirl and Missionary in my case. Videos without those tags will still play, but without the solo time tag functionality.

Would something like that be possible at all? I'm so excited about this feature!

Now that streaming subtitles are supported.
Is it possible to support local .srt when playing a stream, like you do for funscript? (i.e. 12345.srt in the Interactive folder)

I want to report an issue with the streaming subtitles. I am trying to play a video via DLNA for which I added subtitles to the Interactive folder. The name of srt file is the same as corresponding the script.

The subtitle menu is showing 'None' in the file option tab. There are also no subtitles shown when playing video. But there is a error message when opening any video with srt files stored in the Interactive folder.

Object reference is not set to an instance of an object.

linuxguy What you are using is local subtitles, not streaming.

Can you load a .srt saved in interactive folder by going to the "Open" button, it has a folder icon, find it in the player settings / subtitles tab / top line, next to Subtitles title.

Forgot what I said. It's working now. The video was stopping because I needed to select the srt file from the Interactive folder.

linuxguy yes, click the folder, then select .srt in the file browser that you want to use.

I followed your instruction to select the local srt in the file browser. The video player reloaded and then continue playing but there's still no subtitle. The filename in the subtitle tab is none. I can load the funcscript correctly and the srt files are in interactive folder. Any ideas?

is there some way to load subtitles from a DLNA folder? I'm playing a video over DLNA, the .srt file is in the same location, but I can't seem to find it in the subtitle folder browser

mrslyfox3000 There is an inherit problem with DLNA servers renaming the files, so you need to load them yourself. The button is in the Player settings / subtitles tab, top bar.

I found the local subtitle only works with SLR app but not DeoVR on my quest 3. Not sure why.
Update: SLR app loads local srt but no local script, DeoVR loads local script but no local srt.
