Yes BUT... not compromising VR scene quality. I get that all the hype is PT (even getting Nash to try out), but at the same I do not want the nonPT VR scenes that used to make SLRO great be dimished/sacrificed because of it.

Passthough is awesome - the people that don't like it need to get over it and stop constantly whining about it.
As much as I like Nash, I typically skip his intros. I mean they are not exactly gripping and original story lines are they?

Most of you probably won’t remember how it all started. But here we go…
Back in the days in the year 2015 since Jesus was born NA started to shoot 1 VR video a week on a regular basis. The whole NA userbase was yelling in agony “Why are you stealing one out of eight weekly releases from us? None of us has paid for VR. No one needs VR” so they even turned comments off completely.
And see where it brought us.
Every time we try something new we get this from you guys. Things have to move forward.

So why would you take one of the best VR creators out there and put him into an artistic cage with this extremely limited AR stuff? Didn't you tell us that VR (yes, VR, not AR) scenes would still be produced on SLR? By whom? Nash puts out like 4 scenes a month or sometimes just 1. So these rare VR scenes are to be scrapped for even more AR? Why are you at least not honest with your customers that you don't give a fuck about VR anymore and actually only want to produce AR stuff? You can't tell us with a straight face in one post that VR scenes would always be a primary focus on SLR while telling us in another post that AR was the future of VR and everybody should produce for AR , even your best VR directors who are desperately needed for VR prodcution. This is madness. Actual VR is in straight decline on SLR.

It's already happening. There was ONE VR scene by Nash released on SLR in the last 4 weeks. The rest was just passthrough stuff and Naughty America style Mack VR content. Apparently all the old customers of SLR are gone and most people now want to watch AR porn and milfy models with a lot of make up and enhancements around here. Or maybe SLR just wants us old customers to be gone for whatever reason, I don't know...

Sometimes everyone misses things, know I do all the time. For example, I assume you've missed the nonstop threads here, across reddit, twitter, and even a few in the Wankzvr forum talking about how amazing the Passthrough experience on the Quest 3 is? "Eye of the beholder", I know. But saying no one likes it is silly.

Call it whatever you'd like tbh, it's only semantics. Passthrough is increasingly growing in popularity, utilizes a VR headset, and will continue to be produced by us and almost certainly other studios

Well... I mean, sure, everyone is trying it out right now because of the new headset release. I, myself, someone who has never tried PT before, have been experimenting with it for the past 4 days. My initial impression on Day 1 was really disappointing, and not at all what the hype made me believe... And sure, people are going to try it out because they are curious, they want to add some variety/spark in their porn habits, and because it's the "new thing." But if SLR becomes a completely PT-centric studio, then it's a damn waste of VR directors like Alex Nash.

This speaks volumes right here, and quite frankly surprised you would share this.
Regarding PT in general... Since Tuesday, I've experimented more with the help of some of the members here ( @Hurto11 and @Vrsumo2017 ). What's interesting is... though I still don't really enjoy it, I found SOME satisfaction from watching VREdging scenes with custom PT (50 Hue, 100 Sat/Bright, 500+ Range). And actually, generally speaking, I found the more traditional VR scenes that are PT-able due to the lighting/background conditions of the room, were far more enjoyable than the green-screen produced scenes by SimSense. The green screen room is really limiting, as ironic as that sounds. Nothing feels natural about it, in the slightest. Whereas other normally produced VR scenes hit the mark a little better when using custom PT settings. Also, I think having a floating dick (that's obviously not mine) in the PT-scenes is way more immersion-breaking than just seeing the male torso with his dick in place of mine. Also, that won't require perfect alignment every single time.
Anyways, overall, my point is: Fine, I understand, PT is here to stay. I can't argue that, and there are many people that love it (for example when I had level-headed conversations with @Hurto11 and @Vrsumo2017 I understand this is an amazing experience for them). But if you are trying to force PT-green-screen scenes on all your directors, especially Alex Nash, at the same time hearing the news that there will be potentially no more Nash scenes on VRSpy, while simultaneously here at SLR we've only had 1 Nash scene in the last 25 releases... I mean, that's just got to be the most depressing shit I've heard all year.
(PS: Just a random idea: but instead of forcing Nash to shoot a PT scene, maybe he can just shoot his bread-and-butter type of scene, but just have the location / lighting be in a place where creating a PT version in post-production or within the DeoVR app will be possible. That way we don't get the sterile feeling and vibe that all these green-screen scenes so far have, and all fanbases can still enjoy Nash's scenes the way he wants them to be consumed. There is a reason why people fell in love with VRSpy right off the bat, and it's 100% because of Nash's signature style.)
