So that's SLRO's state right now:
- Nash seems to have completely forgotten about the basics of VR porn. Doing blurry, badly lit scenes with distance and position issues on a regular basis now. Using that old guy John Strong for everything and that weird armpit fetish in every scene is also kind of lame.
- Mack is putting out one boring "standard Naughty America porn" scene after the other, all kind of "nice" but completely forgettable after whatching them once. Also his castng choice isn't really what I was used to see on this site, way too much plastics and make-up and stuff (aka "glam porn"). Also he doesn't shoot creampies for whatever reason which is a huge bummer. At least he use different (and younger) guys.
- Simense is now mostly used for shooting AR porn instead of VR porn although he seems to cast the hottest girls right now. Doesn't matter though if all of them are only used for AR porn. His occasional VR scene is among the best SLRO content in the last couple of weeks (which says a lot in itself...)
- That guy in Europe (who did the Kaira Kampen scene) has problems with distances and positions, again the basics. Also using condoms "due to reality" is a really bad decision. Might have potential though.
Hairsational Yes, these were problems on the site with the equipment. My guys in post-production tried to bring out at least some details.
LordCrash Yes you are right about that. Sometimes bad times happen on many fronts. We hear you and will correct you, it takes time. What was done incorrectly in 3 days will be revealed to you in the form of results within a month.
Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I can't stand when the camera angles, distances and model positions are all over the place. Especially for some of the new PT videos. It seems every new position I need to change the height, slide, roll, tilt and or other settings to get the camera lined up to me. Even then it's still off sometimes
. Imo there's nothing more immersion breaking than having to stop and readjust. I just feel like these are basics that should've been dealt with long ago.

I am loving some of the recent models being cast though. Especially for PT, oh and MORE JEWELZ BLU AND ADRIA RAE!!
petergriff I agree with you about the harem scenes but they are once every blue moon, passthrough scenes are very frequent now. Not so long ago they put them on a separate studio label but I guess no one actually sought them out so they’re now included with the main SLRO content again.

Yeah, we moved them back to the SLRO studio pretty quickly since as it turns out they were super easy to miss under their own "studio" name.

Folks can skip scenes that they're not interested in, just like they can do with the tens of thousands of other scenes on the site. Otherwise there's not much to be done about it

For me it all comes down to casting. Casting, casting, casting. Literally all money and effort should be spent on that. Those scenes will provide the revenue needed to further develop the tech side. the last 6 months have been really incredible with Tru Kait, Melissa Stratton, Kenzie Anne, Blake Blossom, Kendra Sutherland, etc. Big name stars bring viewers. There's a reason they are at the top of porn. Any big name that's active or currently unsigned or unexclusive should be contacted and convinced.
The upcoming Capri Cavanni scene is literally the only reason I'm going to re-sub next month, if it was another few weeks of no name average looking girls I'd be done. To Me it seems that at times VR sites (not just SLR) are focused on quanitity over quality. I'd rather have one scene a week but have it be shot beautifully and super high quality with the best top quality stars out there.
Obviously you can never please everyone with casting but you know if you book the hottest most popular names out there you're going to please a large majority. There's a reason Brazzers is still around pumping out scenes for the past 20 years. People like their talent.

+1. Much rather go back to having 2-3 scenes of decent quality than 4 scenes a week.

Yup. I understand quantity makes it seem like you're giving a lot of value to consumers...but not when half the scenes are unwatchable or ones I would rather skip anyway either due to unattractive girl, bad filiming, bad lighting, quality etc. Obviously 4 scenes a week of top notch would be ideal but clearly it's not possible right now. Right now a lot of scenes is just watering down the site.

justsomedude101 Not to beat a dead horse too badly, but it gets pretty tedious when subscibers are talking about the quality and direction of SLRO and staff consistently bring it back around to the "tens of thousands" of videos on the site. I, for one, don't really care about 99% of the amateurish shaky cam studios and years-old stuff from other large studios that make up the bulk of this site. I care about SLRO and scripts, so if the conversation is centering on these things, please address it there and stop deflecting to the filler content.
