SchnuppiLilac its possible that they may have some outward facing ir leds for illumination of the hands but im not sure given that they are already powering a lot of cameras and sensors in that thing in addition the main stuff (processor, displays, etc). their power budget would be very limited because this is meant to run off a small battery.

Supposedly the superb eye-tracking is the biggest gamechanger. I'm really excited, maybe the 2nd or 3rd generation will be for the masses at a cheaper pricepoint. But until then, there will be an entire ecosystem of apps and features ready!

They talk about it like it something brand spanking new to the world, I was watching big screen movies in theaters, ring side seats to ufc wwe and football in 180 and 360 vr, looking at big photos talking on the phone reading text all on my gearvr, I don't recall they made a big deal about vr then,

I was thinking with that vision you'll probably be able to add filters to people around you, how tiktok adds face filters.

Example you have it on your having sex with a partner and with one pinch instant Disney filter on your partner. or crazy tongue twirling filter , And it RECORDS!

I've mentioned this before and I still haven't seen it done it'll probably be done with the vision but why hasn't any video floated around with a male pornstar using the quest pro recording in pov I'm sure someone out there doing it, probably done it with the quest 2. I'd be using it on set just to get sum extra content.

I was also wondering if the vision will record vr 180 videos, I was looking at the vr cameras, and just thought...man, by now these high priced cell phone should already be able to record vr 180, it's bound to happen, watch.

Its a no brainer, apple could make a phone like that, and advertise it like oh look now you can record 180 video with your phone and zap it into your vision for playback.

Watch now we get a real vr emoji.

The cell phone still has potential to be a great vr device, with ar too, don't believe me check this out

My theory
Remember gearvr, you'd put the phone up to your face, lol yeah Apple took that idea and ran with it. Literally the phone and computer up to your face.
Zuckerberg was there but moved more towards gaming, now he trying to back pedal, with quest pro and quest lite, SMH

Apple targets a more wider consumer, gamers of course will be interested, Apple fanatics will be interested, and millions have and love their phones, so by telling consumers they can have their phone in front of their face in your own environment or any kind of environment, now that sparks interest.

The shits mind-blowing if think about how Apple approaching this, lol

But what makes me laugh are these reviewers and news reports and also Tim how they out there talking about it like it's something new, new design, maybe way better quality but nothing really new.

Not gonna lie, when they updated my s10 phone and my gearvr said no longer supported I felt like I got dumped out of no where, a punch to the stomach. Felt depressed for a day or two. Had it for 5 years, if you think about it there really was no money in it tho, cuz if you bought one gearvr headset that's all you needed, you just upgrade your phone from a s7 to s10 like I did.

But man, I bet they could of made a smaller gearvr and added pass-through. They still can but will they.
