I'm waiting for UPS, should have in hand soon. From various discussions and reviews, it sounds like WebXR in Safari isn't working as expected. However, people are saying this Moon VR player should do the trick, at least for downloaded files. Hoarders UNITE!

Also, I plan to check out the PLAY'A app for iPad, PLAY'A is the app used by the VRBangers family of websites. However, I doubt the iPad app will be able to escape the 2D windowed display that all non-native AVP apps are reportedly locked inside. I don't doubt that plenty of immersive VR players will emerge, and if Safari drops the ball on WebXR, I suspect other browsers will fill the void.

Got my Vision Pro. Didn't see DeoVR in the App Store after searching for it. Tried the Sexlikereal website and while the video plays, it does it in the 2-D player and not the usual VR player.

Oh well, I guess I'll wait.

Reddit says, "WebXR in Safari is disabled by default and needs to be enabled in the Settings app via feature flag" So that's encouraging.

Yeah it'll bring up the player but no way of hopping into VR at all, so it's essentially a 2-D image.
This is after enabling all the WebXR settings possible in Safari.
I think it's best we all wait for the fun part, this + AVP Passthrough is going to be gamechanger. If SLR takes their time, I can imagine they could use eyetracking so I can glance in VR versus having to move my head.

I have an Apple Vision Pro (but I let my sexlikereal account lapse some months ago… was hoping to find a video you didn’t have to log in for to try).

You can get into the VR experience at sexlikereal.com/hub if you enable all of the experimental WebVR stuff in Safari settings. It looks like the Meta Quest interface and plays in full VR (though kind of low quality), including a virtual hand. However, selecting things doesn’t work – so I can’t actually click anything to see if it’ll play and what quality.

GfLm The free full videos might not work in the hub, at least when not logged in to an account. I tried this video before and only got the trailer. But it's 2900p and should be sufficient for testing.

I'd imagine SLR have bought themselves at least 1 to get things rolling

If they sold it in my country i'd just expense it through the company to have a play around with and checkout how good the screens are for 2D movies / VR porn

Tried hub. It asks to track your face and hands but there's no way to click with your hands.

ikey86 yeah, having this issue too, lol. What the hell?

The reviews I looked at said it was uncomfortable. Instant fail on that reason alone, if true. It's certain heavy, with no internal battery, and smaller FOV than Quest 3. Given the top resolution of any VR studio is 8k, which I don't think even pushes the Q3 to the max in terms of viewable pixels, I don't understand why anyone would choose the AVP over Quest 3 for porn. As for productivity - too heavy and uncomfortable (apparently) in this first prototype product.

Honestly, you can get the fit super comfortable if the person at the Apple store you have is very chill with you trying out 10+ fits (I did 9 fits). But they were so slammed that they included the wrong sized head-straps, so I ended up being super uncomfortable when I set it up at home.

I don't think it's heavy, but you will feel it if you have it on for more than 1 hour. I don't get any wobbliness from the headset, which I would get on my Quest 3.

The FOV is really god awful on it, to the point that I put on my Quest 3 after the AVP and it was just miles ahead for comfort. The green edging reminds me of the Samsung Gear VR or wearing glasses.

And the app offerings Day 1 just aren't there.

The only good thing about this headset is Cinema (for Apple TV only), Environments, and eye tracking which is gobsmackingly good but I would much prefer if they showed a clean line to where my eyes were pointing like the Quest controller does.

The demo is really magical in the store when you have your mind blown by the eye tracking, but remember they don't show you the keyboard or the awful web browsing experiences for a reason.

It's ok, I don't think there's much of a difference that I can tell from Quest 3 to AVP.

jommy voila 🙂 the thing is being pushed for work productivity...so everyone that has a business can get their little 50 percent off coupon going as they write this thing off like a computer

ikey86 so did it play vr 180?
On youtube this guy try play vr video or 360 and only thing he could do was move the screen in 2d frame, it never opened up in vr mode.

I'm also wondering how it would look in vr mode cuase he used moon vr and played a vr video and it was cool he still had his arms in front of the vr image but then i thought what about laying down will your whole body be there blocking image? 🤔

Idk man, this guy say he can't get no vr 180 vids to play, the screen goes black and just plays audio, it play apple produced vr videos but not third party apps. Hopefully this not true cuz that would suck ass.

@Kieshi surprised there does not seem to be any discussion in the DEOVR forum re: getting it to work with Vision Pro. Any indication people are thinking about how to get it working?

Garyindiana2 Trying to make apps for Apple is very difficult compared to making apps for Android. I don't know if SLR will push to make an apple version or not but I would understand why if they don't.

Doesn't it come with something like Safari browser to just view the SLR website directly? That seems like it should work.
