  • Cannot connect to Handy in DEOVR suddenly.

Hi,

As of today, I am getting an "error deserializing handy JSON! unexpected character found while parsing." It appears I cannot connect handy to DEOVR anymore. Any help? Thx.

    jusplayin69 I have been getting all kinds of weird disconnects for a couple weeks now. I don't know if it's my handy or my internet or SLR. Maybe 10 different messages of it losing connection, forced closed ect. Sometimes it just keeps running forever and can't stop it without unplugging it and starting the whole thing over again.

      Good to know, just unboxed one and now trying to set up. Was super frustrated but at least I know it’s not me or my pieces for now. Please let us know if it’s working

        alina okay the fix was updating the firmware since mine was out of date.

        Make sure to update your handy. Should work now

          justsomedude101 Maybe it updates automatically cause just went to the handy page and did want it said. There was no update. I have never manually updated but looks like I am currant.

          I just used it. Nothing changed on my end. Still disconnected with all kinds of weird messages. Lost connection, forced stopped by the host, ect.

          I'm currently experiencing the same problem (messages "No response from machine" instead of "Device Message Buffer Full").

          does anyone know how to solve the problem please?
          but it seems to be coming from their servers ... (just goes to show how great it is not to use local software ... once the online is dead nothing works :-) )

          I also saw that he had a twitter account but nothing concerning this problem was posted.

Unfortunately we can't give you an estimate when it will be up and running again, but will of course try to have it up and running again as soon as possible.
